Active Hobby Products soon have an aluminium steering wheel for the Futaba T4PX radio available. Offering a closed multi-piece closed front design the wheel is available several colours including red, blue, black, silver and gun metal. Not included is a suitable foam ring but the original one will fit fine.

Active Hobby Products from Japan have an aluminium handle and dial set for the Futaba T4PX radio available. Machined from aluminium and offering a lightweight design the handle allows for easier and more convenient carrying of the radio while the anodised dials add a splash of colour to Futaba’s top-of-the-foodchain transmitter. Coming in the five colours of blue, black, red, silver and gun metal the set also includes mounting hardware and a hex wrench.

Coming soon from Active Hobby Products and made for the Tamiya TT-02 Type-S cars used as drifters are long reverse aluminium A-arms and high camber C-hubs. Starting with the A-arms, the wishbones are 1mm longer compared to the short reverse arms and they feature five mounting positions for the shock absorbers and delrin inserts for the suspension pins. Coming as separate sets for the front and rear of the car and in blue, black, red or silver anodising. Also new and made to suit Active’s alloy suspension arms are the high camber front C-hubs. Offering a “double C” design the hubs make way for the front driveshafts at high steering angles, allowing for ultra-high steering throw angles as required in drift racing. The 10 degree castor hubs come as sets in blue, black, red and silver anodising.

Active Hobby Products have a new one-way gear set available for Tamiya’s TT-02 entry-level touring car. Containing a 42T one-way and 13T pinion gear the set makes for an under-driven front end, a setup often used by drift car racers. The highly precise gears fit the Tamiya OP671 front one-way unit and they become available soon.

Active Hobby introduce a reversible rear arm mount for the Tamiya TT-02 Type-S 4WD touring car. Machined from aluminium the part allows for 0 degree and 1.5 degree toe-in settings of the rear lower A-arms by simply flipping the part around. In combination with the standard or optional rear hubs overall toe angles of 0 up to 4 degree in 0.5 degree increments can be achieved to fine-tune the suspension setting. The rear arm mount is available in four different colours including black, blue, red and silver.

Coming from Active Hobby Products and made for Tamiya’s WR-02 2WD wheeler chassis is an aluminium motor guard set. Included is a machined motor guard with numerous slots for cooling and weight reduction as well as all needed mounting hardware. The assembly protects the somewhat exposed motor of the WR-02 chassis during on-road and off-road abuse while adding a bit of visual impact at the same time. The set is available in four colours including blue, black, red and silver.

It is understood that using the gears, that become available in October, will make for an even more efficient power supply compared to 64 pitch gears with the main gears being made from a special delrin material for wear and durability while the pinions will be made from 7075 aluminium. Active Hobby Products from Japan soon have scale 5-bolt wheel nuts for 1/10th drift cars available. Machined from aluminium and sporting a realistic 5-bolt design, the wheel nuts offer a serrated section for a secure fitment without the usual nyloc insert. The nuts are available in several variants with dark blue, light blue, red, gun metal, pink and purple highlighted bolts. Fastening the nuts requires a special driver that will become available on time with the wheel nuts.
