Agama N110 1:10 2WD Buggy

Agama has officially released images and details of its first foray into 1:10 Offroad with the release of the N110 1:10 2WD Buggy.  Set to be available in the fourth quarter of 2024.  After years of design and development, including building on the success of its bigger brother – the Agama N1 1:8 platform, that revolutionary design is finally realised in the 1:10 market.  Its unique suspension creates an incredibly low centre of gravity race car, while their engineering teams experience has pushed to ensure that not only is it fast, but it’s the easiest car to work on in its class, just like its big brother.  Lower COG makes the N110 more consistent to drive while being able to hold higher corner speeds.  With the N110, Agama introduce RAD, its Rapid Access Diff gearbox for easy and quick diff removal at the rear of the buggy.  The number of parts you need to remove for easy maintenance is reduced, allowing you to spend less time wrenching and more time racing.  High grade metal and plastic parts are found throughout the kit, making sure your car is not only fast, but durable too.  A Linear Rail Steering System removes all the traditional steering system, replacing it with the lowest, cleanest play-free solution creating a feel while driving that is so smooth in the curve.

Agama N1 1:8 Buggy

Nemo Racing has just published a full presentation of their new Agama N1 which has gone on pre-order.  The British brand has shown the pre production N1 before with Lee Martin racing it a number of international events including the World Championship but has now launched full details of the new 1:8 buggy platform.  Introducing the N1 which features an unconventional suspension set-up, Nemo Racing say, ‘After years of development our revolutionary design concept is finally realised with the production N1. Its unique suspension creates an incredibly low COG (Centre of Gravity) race car, while our engineering teams years of experience has pushed us to ensure that not only is it fast, but it’s the easiest car to work on in its class. Lower COG makes the N1 more consistent to drive while being able to hold higher corner speeds than your average 1/8th buggy. Its not just in the corners where the N1 excels, through bumps it stays very flat with less tendency to want to flip over and in the air the N1 flies very low and stable as its unique clean aerodynamics have a tremendous effect, working the rear wing to maximum efficiency’

Video – Nemo Racing Concept Agama 1/8th car

Nemo Racing in the UK have produced this video outlining their new concept Agama 1/8th Nitro buggy, set to be called the A422. The car sports inboard shock absorbers, removing the need for shock towers, with the aim of lowering the car’s centre of gravity. They have been doing extensive testing with a lot of 3d printed parts and hope to move forward with the project following some addition testing around the UK and completing some final design tweaks. Check it out.

Agama A319P Performance competition 1/8th buggy

The Agama A319P is the next evolution of the Agama A319 Nitro Platform, the constant drive for development and performance has culminated in the A319 Performance. The performance edition of the A319 nitro buggy includes a new drivetrain featuring a 43/13 diff and pinion gearing matched up with a 47T spur gear and 13T clutch bell. The resulting performance advantage was evident along with increased drivetrain efficiency and durability. Next up are new 17.5 degree aluminium caster blocks that are now included in the kit. The best steering balance, steering consistency and durability on all track conditions. The centre diff engine mount chassis stiffener is now included in the kit. With its machined design and centre chassis alignment it significantly increases clutch bell and spur life without compromising on lateral chassis flex. The LMR Full Thrust body shell with its striking design and enhanced aerodynamics made it an obvious choice for the A319. Combined that with the included Beta rear wing which provides increased rear end consistency and makes the car easier to drive. Other now standard parts include domed droop screws, black/yellow shock springs, machined shock pistons, 7075 servo mount, solid steel brake disk and hard graphite diff cases.
