Coming soon from ARC is the 2.4 FDR upgrade kit for the R8.0 to R8.2 1/8th scale on-road kits. The set helps to convert the FDR from the original 2.3 (20/46T) to 2.4 (20/48T), which will result in increased acceleration and torque. The set includes a 24T front pulley, a 48T rear pulley, and a 204-8mm rear belt.

ARC have announced the soon release of their forthcoming new R11F front-wheel driven 1/10th scale touring car kit. A first for the company, the car builds on the proven R11 2019 4WD touring car, sharing over 95 percent of the parts which makes parts storage easy when running both classes. The car utilises a 2.25mm carbon fibre main chassis combined with a 2.0mm upper deck, while an optional 1.6mm carbon or an aluminium upper deck allow to fine-tune the chassis’ torsional flex characteristics. The upper decks of the R11F and the R11 2019 are similar, further helping to minimise parts needed to run both cars alongside. On the transmission side of things the R11F features a belt-driven drivetrain with an oil-filled gear differential while the battery compartment allows for five different configurations such as side and cross alignment standard packs, side or cross alignment shorty batteries and also an inline/centre placement of shorty battery packs. The kit is shipping now and should hit stores very soon.
Coming from ARC and made for the R11 Mid 4WD electric touring car conversion kit is an aluminium main chassis plate. The part is machined from high-quality 2.0mm 7075-T6 aluminium and it makes for a more rigid chassis construction, reducing torsional flex compared to the standard carbon fibre chassis for optimised handling in high to very high bite track conditions. The chassis comes black anodised for surface protection and it sports machined silver edge details and chamfered outer edges for less chassis scrub during cornering.

Factory Pro RC have introduced their new low-friction 117T and 169T drive belts. The 117T variant is usable for mid-motor cars such as the ARC R11 Mid, the Awesomatix A800X MMCX, the Rebellion-RC mid-motor conversions or the Zero Tribe Mid conversion kits while the 169T variant is specific to the standard ARC R11 touring car. The white belts greatly reduce natural drivetrain drag for improved efficiency, acceleration and top speed especially in stock racing classes.

ARC have introduced their new R11 Mid middle motor chassis conversion kit for the 2019 and 2018 specification R11 touring car. The new layout moves the motor 25mm forward for improved weight balance, helping the car to gain steering and rotation mid corner. The updated motor bulkhead also ensures more event flex distribution between the front and the rear end which further helps with overall balance. The torsional flex of the upper deck and chassis is adjustable by two different flex plates and the new design upper deck can be mounted in two different directions to provide different setup options and a wider tuning window. The set includes the new upper and lower decks, flex plates, motor mount, centre pulleys, belts as well as mounting hardware and it is available now.
Coming from Vortex Racing are three Ultimate ultra light-weight screw kits for the ARC R11 2019, Destiny RX-10SR and Xray T4’19 touring cars. The kits contain of high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium screw for the upper parts of the chassis as well as titanium fasteners for the bottom area, ensuring an exceptional weight reduction and stability compared to the standard steel screws. Also included are double secured aluminium M4 wheel nuts as well as aluminium M3 lock nuts if required by the vehicle. Both the ARC and Destiny-related kits include black-anodised aluminium hardware while the Xray-specific set includes orange anodised alloy screws. All three screw sets come in reusable boxes that can be used for storing small parts, electronics or spares. ARC have announced the soon release of titanium-coated screw-type shock shafts for the R8 series of 1/8th on-road kits. The shock shafts feature a friction-reducing and durability-enhancing titanium coat, allowing to increase the performance of the shocks in all conditions. The shafts come in sets of four and they are usable on the R8.2, R8.1 and R8.0 kits.

Pirani RC have introduced their new 20T and 25T HD clutch pinion gears for all 1/8th on-road cars with ARC or Capricorn clutch bells. Sporting a 0.8 module for higher effienency and a hard-coated surface for wear, the gears will improve the drivetrain’s performance and durability.
