New parts for the Axial SCX10-2 from Samix continue to released, with the announcement of new aluminium driveshaft caps. As with all the other parts, they are available in 3 different colours and feature the Samix branding etched into the anodised surface. Not just looking good, they also provide more rigidity and increase durability in this area.

Helping to increase durability they include a high quality POM bearing adapter and all necessary hardware. Sporting Samix etching and chamfered edges they are also ready to accept the range of Samix brass weights.

MIP have introduced their updated CVD centre drive kits for the Axial Wraith off-roader. Running changes over at Axial made it necessary for MIP to update their design and thus MIP’s new Wraith axles will no longer feature a double set screw design to clamp onto the through hole but now incorporate a pin set screw for attachment. Along with that improvement MIP have also changed the drive hubs so that there is no longer any interference when it comes to making contact with the stock spur gear cover. Last but not least this kit covers all Wraith models.

Samix have introduced an aluminium shock body upgrade kit for the Axial SCX10 and SCX10 II. Machined from aluminium and coming with a hard-anodised or silver finish the shock bodies are of a threaded design and they come including aluminium spring pre-load nuts, aluminium lower caps and fake piggy packs in the same colour as the shock bodies. Laser etched markings round out the visual appearance. All parts are a direct fit to the needed donor Axial pieces and using the alloy bodies will make for a smoother shock action and an overall better performing shock absorber.
Coming from ST Racing Concepts are new aluminium and steel option parts for a range of Axial off-road kits. First up are the version 3 differential covers for the RR10 Bomber, Wraith, Yeti and SMT10. The machined aluminium parts add both strength and looks and they are available in anodised blue, black, green, gun metal and silver.
JConcepts have introduced their all-new 2.6″ monster truck tires and wheels. First up is the Renegades tire, a low-profile carcass and cut-tread offering. The chevron style lugs has been created with specially designed back-cut tread and shaved carcass areas imitating the real thing. At rotation, the tread still stands tall and provides a hefty edge of forward grip in a variety of conditions. The back-cut section provides a small transition during high-speed corning which conform to changing terrain and obstacles. The side-walls have been treated with wording, designs and descriptions consistent with full-scale tires during that generation of performance. The low-profile stance of the Renegades stays very flat during race course competition, speed-runs or general use. The tire carcass profile holds the weight extremely low while the design of the tire beads allows just the right amount of contact patch for gluing and application. The Renegades is available in sticky soft blue compound for dirt, grass and asphalt while the gold compound feels harder to the touch and excels on carpet, astroturf and polished concrete surfaces. It also expands less during high-speeds. Renegades tires are complete and include open cell React inserts to support the grippy tires.
MIP’s popular X-Dury C-Drive kit is soon also available for the Axial SMT10 4WD monster trucks. Replacing the standard centre driveshaft assembly for a more sturdy and more durable one, the set includes all-steel X-Duty splined driveshafts that can take much more punishment than the kit setup. Included are all parts needed for the conversion as well as a thread gel and lube cup.
