Axial have a new pre-painted bodyshell for the 1/10th Yeti rock racer available. Made from .040″ thick polycarbonate material the body comes painted in a white, blue and pink paint scheme, it is pre-cut for easy installation and includes a roof section and decals. The needed plastic scale accessories and hardware are available separately.

ST Racing Concepts introduce an aluminium and graphite battery brace combo for the Axial Yeti and also new green anodised SCX10 aluminium options. Starting with the battery brace set, the parts are made to increase the rigidity of the original battery brace. The design sandwich the plastic piece between an aluminium top insert and a graphite lower back plate in the same dimension and shape as the stock piece which will greatly increase the strength of the whole assembly. This prevents the battery becoming ejecting during hard landings or tumbles. The brace also adds great factory looks and it is available in black, green, gun metal, silver, and web only limited edition Red anodising. As for the SCX10 options, both the aluminium front upper 4-link kits as well as the short wheelbase chassis kit are now also available in green anodising.

Following the RTR version, Axial’s Yeti 1/10th scale 4WD rock racer is now also available in kit form. Featuring a solid rear axle and independent front suspension, its distinct aesthetic and technical elements were inspired by full-size desert trucks. The kit version will accept standard 1/10th scale brushed and brushless 4-pole systems and most major stick pack batteries. Precision machined aluminium shocks are standard equipment and deliver smooth suspension movement for consistent handling while 2.2″ Falken Wildpeak tyres make for good traction in a range of track conditions. Included are also clear body panels, an interior tray and three driver helmets.

Following first a first range of aluminium option parts ST Racing Concepts have more upgrades for Axial’s Yeti off-road vehicle available. First up is the CNC-machined aluminium front skid plate/hinge-pin brace and HD steering bellcrank upgrade set that is made to improve the durability and precision of the steering. The set will replace all the stock plastic steering pieces with stronger and more precise aluminium parts. Also new is the front skid plate/hinge-pin brace for more durability around the front hinge-pin area. The set is available in black, gun metal, green, silver and limited edition red anodising.

First up are an aluminium centre motor mount and motor cam combo that is ideal when running high performance brushless motors. The parts replace the stock plastic pieces, they help with heat dissipation and add rigidity where it is needed. Axial introduce the full bodied version of the Axial Wraith Rock Racer, the Wraith Spawn. The kit retains many of the components that made this vehicle famous. The AR60 OCP axles are ready take the Spawn through its paces whether blasting through the wide open desert or hammering its way through the toughest rock trails. The Ripsaw 2.2 tyres wrapped around industry proven Method IFD beadlock wheels make for good grip in many track conditions while the 20T brushed motor and waterproof AE-5 speed controller propel the vehicle trough the track. Included with the RTR kit comes a water-resistant TSX45 MG metal gear servo as well as a two channel 2.4GHz radio system.

Made for the Axial Yeti is the new X-Duty rear C-Drive Kit from MIP. Designed to replace the standard plastic driveshaft with a high-grade alloy steel construction the set improves durability and power supply for better performance in rock crawling and bashing. Offering spline drive technology and being of an all-metal design the kit is a direct replacement for the stock driveshaft.
