New from Axial, the XR10 Heavy Duty Gear Plate is precision machined from durable billet aluminum and is 4mm in the heat-sink / motor mount area. The finned heat-sink design disperses heat faster due to increased surface area. The motor mounts directly to the 4mm heat sink section for both rock pounding durability and quick heat exchange for all day driving.

Axial XR10 Ripsaw T35, gear cover & steering arms

Axial have released a number of new items for their XR10 crawler starting with these 2.2 Ripsaw tires in T35 compound. A realistic and aggressive tread design for the ultimate scale appearance and performance, they are 5.5″ (140mm) tall for extreme ground clearance and molded ribbing between the lugs help keep mud and snow from packing into the tire tread. Using the new New “R35” sticky rubber compound (white dot), they come supplied with standard foam. Axial also have a new transmission spur gear cover which helps keep dirt and debris out of the pinion and spur for a quiet and efficient drive train. Finally there is the new XR10 high leverage steering arms for increased steering throw and power. CNC Machined from 6061 aluminium it has been black anodized and features laser etching.

Axial Racing have released the 21RR-1 engine, a new .21 nitro engine to compliment the reputable RR Series of ABC designed engines designed for the racing enthusiast, from buggy basher to weekend race warrior. The engine features an all new precision machined crankcase, cross drilled fins for better cooling and a tuned 7 port engine sleeve. A precision machined and counterbalanced crankshaft and all new 2 needle carburetor design complete the list of new features.

Axial have released a number of new items for their XR10 crawler, beginning with these machined gears. Precision CNC machined, the complete set of machined gears will reduce your internal rotating mass by over 15% as well as increase strength and efficiency. Axial have also released precision CNC machined titanium gear shafts, which not only increase strength and efficiency but help reduced the internal rotating mass by 40% over the stock Axial XR10 steel gear shafts.

Rodney Wills joins Axial

Rodney Wills joins Axial

Axial has announced the addition of Rodney Wills as the new Global Marketing Director. In his new position, Wills will be responsible for all Marketing efforts. Serving nearly 5 years as Marketing Manager at HPI Racing, Rodney brings his experience in publishing, marketing and event management to Axial. His extensive background and knowledge in various industries including automotive, snowboarding, skate and surf make him the perfect person to direct all of Axial’s Global Marketing endeavors. “We are excited to be adding someone with Rodney’s experience to our evolving Axial team.” Says C.E.O. Axial XR10 crawler upgrades

Axial Racing have released a number of upgrades for their XR10 crawler. Starting with this battery plate, it has been machined from high-grade carbon fibre, is height adjustable and includes all the hardware allowing the battery to be positioned as low as possible. There is also a new electronics plate, which again has been machined from high-grade 3mm carbon fibre. The new plate gives a lightweight mounting platform for your electronics and is 65% lighter than the factory electronics tray. Axial have released the Stage 3 aluminium Hi-Clearance links kit, which is a replacement for the upper and lower links from the XR10. This kit provides additional clearance and performance for the XR10 chassis. For additional tuning options there is a new range of shock springs in black (1.04lbs/in), purple (1.43lbs/in) and orange (1.75lbs/in). Finally for the RTR AX10 and SCX10 there is this steering upgrade kit that replaces the stock plastic steering links increasing steering strength and precision.

Axial XR10 aluminium & carbon upgrades

Axial have released a number of new parts for their XR10 and other crawlers beginning with these aluminium parts for the XR10. The new parts include steering knuckles, C-hub carriers and straight axle adapters, which replace the stock plastic parts for increased strength. Machined from 6061 aluminium they are anodized black with laser etched with Axial logos. Also for the XR10 are these new carbon fibre parts that include the chassis set, shock mounts, as well as servo mounts and steering arm set which replace the stock aluminium XR10 components. All parts have been CNC machined and help reduce weight where it matters most, saving 50% wight versus the stock parts. Axial have also released these steel 48P pinions that fit the 3.15mm (0.125″) standard 540 motor shafts. Available in 13T, 14T and 15T versions. Finally for the wheels, there are these grey anodized 2.2 VWS machined beadlock rings, a direct replacement for all 2.2 VWS wheels. Also they have released these VWS carbon fibre wheel weight lock that replaces the stock plastic lock to increase rigidity.
