Brown Engineering Rhino pan car

Brown Engineering introduce the Rhino mini-size pan car. The Robitronic Scalpel conversion features a flex plate technology that controls the side to side movement by using different thickness plates. Included with the kit comes a BMI pivot, wide motor mount that accepts a wide range of motors and also an angled servo mount. The chassis plate is designed to make use of singled cells, saddle or straight LiPo packs.

Brown Engineering have introduced their latest creation, the SH Version 2. Based on the Robitronic Scalpel, this is their new link car which features flex plate technology, which controls the side to side movement. The tension of this movement can be changed through different flex plates, which are different thicknesses and so control the roll. The car still uses their custom damper tubes and micro shock and will also come with angles servo mounts and three sets of flex plates. You can still use 4 or 6 cell and it also has slots for saddle pack or single LiPo pack. Finally, the car comes with a BMI pivot and wide enough rear pod to fit most motors.

Scooby Horton Edition Scalpel conversion

Designed by Javier ‘Scooby’ Horton, produced in cooperation with Skyrocket Racing and Brown Engineering, the Scooby Horton Signature Edition Scalpel claims to be a game changer. It brings the stability and predictability of a 1/12 scale pan car to the 1/18 scale direct drive world. This conversion kit consists of a new 6 cell chassis that extends the wheelbase to 150mm, a larger more consistent center shock, custom side dampening tubes, a redesigned upper pod plate, angled servo mounts and redesigned fiberglass t-bars, this conversion provides a comprehensive performance increase to an already potent micro pan car. The tunablility of this kit makes it at home on asphalt or high bite ozite. Running Skyrocket batteries Scooby used the pre-production version of this kit to take the Micro Great Lakes Challenge Pan Car stock class at Hobby Stop West in Toledo Ohio, by a whopping 3 laps. There are 3 versions the 6 cell chassis, and the Oval chassis, both of which are available now. The Lipo chassis version shown in the photos is in the final stages of testing and will be debuting very soon.
