Capricorn F1-02 CF link & wide front kits

Two new optional parts are available from Capricorn for their LAB F1-02 formula kit. First up is a carbon fibre side link set that improves overall rigidity, precision and performance. The multi-parts set replaces the standard composite links and it is understood to be usable on Capricorn’s 1/12th and 1/10th pan cars also. Also new and made exclusively for the F1-02 is a wide front end kit that increased the car’s front track width which can be helpful in certain track conditions and when running narrow offset front wheels.

Capricorn C8SR side-by-side battery conversion

Capricorn have introduced a new side-by-side battery conversion for the C8SR 1/8th scale stock pan car. The kit allows to run two standard-size battery packs side-by-side, replacing the kit’s stand-up brick position while the speed controller will be moved to the upper area in front of the motor. The result is an optimised weight balance and better heat dissipation of the batteries which will greatly improve life span.

Josh Cyrul joins Capricorn

Capricorn have officially announced the signing of veteran U.S. on-road racer, Josh Cyrul to their US team. The multi-time US National Champion will use the Capricorn’s electric touring and pan car kits while also making a possible return to nitro racing, using the Italian-brand’s popular 1/8th and 1/10th IC platforms. Josh says:

Since the first time I saw a Capricorn car, I knew the quality, dedication and most importantly the passion for racing. I was super impressed and honestly jealous of the drivers I had to race against who were using Capricorn. For myself wanting a quality electric platform to work with and develop, plus the potential to return to nitro racing where I’ve had some of my greatest accomplishments in RC, this is absolutely a dream come true! Massive, massive thanks to Dwight Smith, Paolo Morganti and especially Patrizio Rossi for this opportunity!
