Fenix Racing Mistral 2.0 titanium front axles

Fenix Racing have introduced new titanium front axles for their Mistral 2.0 formula car kit. The axle shafts are machined from high-quality Grade 5 material and at 4g for a pair, they scrub about 50 percent of weight compared to the standard axles, meaning greatly reduced unsprung weight for a more responsive front suspension action. The axle shafts will also fit many other 1/10th scale formula pan cars and they are available from now on.

Fenix F1 70 formula chassis kit – Coming soon

Fenix have released first images of their forthcoming new F1 70 chassis kit that allows to build an easy yet swift base for the company’s 1970s Formula 1 body shells such as the Lotus 78, March 761 and Ferrari T4. Machined from carbon fibre the chassis kit will make for a simple and lightweight base with the 1-piece design – that sees the rear T-bar as part of the main chassis – making for easy, limited adjustment possibilities without compromising overall performance. Also included in the kit come carbon fibre parts such as a shorty LiPo battery mount with O-ring retainer, a simple centre shock mount, and a stand-up mount for low-profile servos. Full details will become available in time of the release that isn’t too far away.

Fenix introduce new Mistral 2-0 & G56 optionals

Fenix Racing have introduced new option parts for the Mistral 2.0 and G56 pan car kits in the form of aluminium front upper arm mounts and a titanium uniball for the Mistral 2-0 shock mount. Starting with the upper arm mounts, these parts are machined from high-quality 7075 aluminium and they greatly reduce play and unwanted flex, resulting in a more precise feeling of the car on the track. Black coated for wear and looks the parts fit both the Mistral 2-0 and the G56 series of pan cars and they come in pairs including all necessary hardware. Also new is a titanium shock holder pivot ball for the Mistral 2-0 formula car. The uniball allows to remove the battery without undoing the central shock, which makes for more convenient battery swapping.
