Machined from high-quality material and sporting with a black and white finish with silver edge details, the handle screws onto the back of the transmitter, protecting the radio to a certain degree while also make carrying it around easier.

Hiro Seiko 7PX lightweight screw set

Hiro Seiko have introduced a lightweight aluminium screw set for the Futaba 7PX radio system. The kit contains five fasteners to replace the standard steel screws of the steering wheel and the upper case in order to scrub some weight while adding visual impact. The screw kits are available in several colours including orange, gold, purple, dark blue, light blue, red, and black.

Futaba reveal more 7PX details

Futaba have revealed more details of the forthcoming 7PX 2.4GHz telemetry radio system. Featuring the super-fast T-FHSS SR Super Response protocol the radio is expected to be even faster than the current 4PX transmitter while sporting a 4.3″ LCD touch screen, the new R334SBS diversity receiver as well as additional channels that feature reversing, end point adjustments, sub-trim, assignable brake mixing and ABS. The radio is expected to hit stores this summer.

Futaba 7PX 2.4GHZ radio system – Detail images

Futaba’s Hideo Kitazawa has released a couple of detail images of the forthcoming 7PX 2.4GHz radio system. On show during this week’s Shizuoka Hobby Show the 7PX is understood to be the company’s new top of the foodchain radio system, sporting a large 4.3 inch touch display, the new T-FHSS Super Response transmitting system and also a new 2-antenna receiver. The full specifications and features have yet to surface and we keep you updated on the progress.

Futaba 7PX 2.4GHz radio system – Coming soon

Following yesterday’s first teaser image Futaba have released a first official photo of their forthcoming flagship 2.4GHz radio system. The 7PX will feature a full remodelled case, a 4.3 inch touchscreen display, it will utilise the T-FHSS Super Response transmitting system and a new R324SBS 4-channel multi-antenna diversity receiver. Full details are expected to surface during this year’s Shizuoka Hobby Show in May.

Futaba 7PX 2.4GHz radio system – Teaser image

Futaba have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming 7PX 2.4GHz radio system. The top-of-the-foodchain radio will feature a 4.3 inch colour touch panel LC display, the telemetry-compatible T-FHSS SR Super Response transmitting system and it will come with a new diversity receiver for even greater signal transmission reliability. Futaba CPS-1 Channel Power Switch

Coming from Futaba is the CPS-1 Channel Power Switch for use with +3-channel transmitters. The compact unit allows to control lights on any model such as lightbars on crawlers, underfloor lighting on show cars and more. The switch is usable with every switch-actuated channel and measures only 16x22x7.6mm while weighing in at 5.9g.

Futaba O.S. Speed Tuned high-performance servos

Futaba have introduced a special line of “O.S. Speed Tuned”-branded servos for 1/8th and 1/10th scale applications to celebrate the two company’s long-running collaboration. First up is the Speed T1 BLS571SV (0.08s/11kg-cm) low profile servo for 1/10th touring car and off-road classes. It offers hardened gears, ceramic ball bearings and aluminium top and middle sections. Next up is the Speed R1 BLS371SV (0.10s/19kg-cm), a standard-size servo for 1/8th on-road applications featuring hybrid gears, ceramic bearings and an aluminium upper case and middle section. Last but not least is the Speed B1 S9373SV (0.06s/24.6kg-cm), an all-alloy case servo for buggy racing, again with hybrid gears and ceramic bearings. All servos are high-voltage compatible and they come in a special red and black anodised design and with dark-toned servo leads.
