All Japan Hobby Show – Miscellaneous

As for the miscellaneous bits and pieces, Futaba have the forthcoming 4PXR 2.4GHz pistol grip radio on show. The top of the foodchain transmitter is meant to be again faster than the already swift 4PX that was introduced not long ago. The R’s case features what appears to be a dark chrome coating although we are unsure if that’s just a gizmo for the show, as we doubt a chrome transmitter case will make you many friends on the rostrum. Features aren’t available yet nor is a release date but, like previously mentioned, we will keep you posted on any news.

GForce carbon fibre look transmitter bags

Japanese company GForce have introduced several transmitter bags with tailor-made inserts for a range of intermediate and high-end transmitters. The bags offer a carbon fibre look, orange welting, an adjustable shoulder strap and a stitched GForce logo while the inner foam takes the transmitter, receiver and transmitter batteries. The bag is available for the KO Propo EX1 KIY, Sanwa M12 and MT4, as well as the Futaba 4PLS.

Active Hobby Products T4PX alloy steering wheel

Active Hobby Products soon have an aluminium steering wheel for the Futaba T4PX radio available. Offering a closed multi-piece closed front design the wheel is available several colours including red, blue, black, silver and gun metal. Not included is a suitable foam ring but the original one will fit fine.

JConcept’s radio bag is now also available in a variant tailor-made for the Futaba 4PX transmitter. Designed with travel, cushion, ease of use and protection in mind the lightweight design consists of a rugged outer bag which has a convenient and easy access zipper closure and inside it has a Velcro closure pouch for additional easy access items. Inside, pull and pluck foam pieces are arranged throughout the entire inner liner allowing racers to chose the size and shape of the item needing protection or organisation while a lower stage foam insert cushions the bottom. The bag is travel friendly and sized to fit inside most luggage or racing carrier bags. JConcepts’ Striker logo and graphic imagery is printed on the outside to match with the remainder of JConcepts’ transportation bags.

Yeah Racing 4PX transmitter bag

New from Yeah Racing comes a transmitter bag for the Futaba 4PX. Made from lightweight yet sturdy nylon material and offering a tailor-fit foam insert the bag takes the 4PX as well as small parts and more while protecting the precious radio from harm during storage and transportation. The bag sports a comfortable handle for convenient handling and it features a durable zipper, a carbon fibre design and a Yeah Racing logo plate.

Active Hobby Products T4PX alloy handle & dial set

Active Hobby Products from Japan have an aluminium handle and dial set for the Futaba T4PX radio available. Machined from aluminium and offering a lightweight design the handle allows for easier and more convenient carrying of the radio while the anodised dials add a splash of colour to Futaba’s top-of-the-foodchain transmitter. Coming in the five colours of blue, black, red, silver and gun metal the set also includes mounting hardware and a hex wrench.

JConcepts Dirt-Tech steering wheel foam grip

New from JConcepts comes the Dirt-Tech steering wheel foam grip. The durable, gray coloured material made famous as tyre inserts has now reached the all important steering wheel for radios. Specifically designed for the Sanwa/Airtronics M12, the Dirt-Tech steering grip has a convenient size which allows for use on multiple radios including Futaba, KO and Spektrum. The outer diameter has a neutral size which gives drivers great control regardless of hand gripping size. Justified toward the outside section, revolved cuts identify the wheel as being Dirt-Tech but also provide an additional feel. Orientate the grip in the opposite direction to place the revolved cuts just under the finger tips.

Hiro Seiko transmitter screen protectors

Hiro Seiko introduce transmitter screen protectors for a range of high-end transmitters. Made from a multi layer Japan-made material the protectors are ultra clear and they offer a hard-coat protection against scratches and fingerprints. The pre-cut sheets are available for the Futaba 4PX, KO Propo EX-1 KIY and Sanwa M12 with more transmitters to follow shortly.
