HB Racing E817T 1/8th E-Truggy – Coming soon

HB Racing have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming E817T 1/8th E-Truggy kit. No official word on features and specifications is available yet but given the CAD rendering the truck will use links to connect the front, centre and rear bulkheads over the more conventional and class-standard bulkhead-to-chassis braces while also utilising a clamp-style motor mount. We bring you more information on the kit as soon as they surface.

VRP HB D817/E817 HRC suspension blocks

VRP has released high roll centre HRC suspension blocks for the HB Racing D817 and E817 buggies. The blocks have the hinge pin locations moved up 1mm from the stock blocks and will complement HB Racing’s +1.4mm B block. This offers more overall roll, which on certain track conditions will translate to more overall grip. The D block features VRP’s “quick release” design, meaning the D block can be removed without taking out the bottom two chassis screws and after only removing the two screws holding the actual D block. The A block also has an additional 1mm of material on the bottom that increases its overall lifespan. The A, C and D block are machined from 7075 aluminium, they come black anodised and laser-etched for easy identification.

HB Racing multi function tool

HB Racing have released this multi function tool, an essential item for in your tool box. Able to punch perfect vent holes in tires, with 1/10 and 1/8 punch sizes included, it securely holds shock shafts without scratching the finish (3/4/5mm shafts), holds 1/8 shock bodies and caps for maintenance and allows the assembly and disassembly of uniballs. The MFT is precision machined from aluminium and anodized black, it’s spring loaded and can be locked with a body clip.
