Coming from T-Works and made for the Kyosho MP9 TKI3/4 and GT3 series of cars are two carbon fibre switch plates. Coming as plain variant to fully cover the respective opening in the radio box and also as cut-out version to use a standard on/off switch, both plates are machined from high-quality carbon fibre and they are a drop fit, preventing dust and dirt from entering the radio box.
UREE from Japan have announced their new carbon fibre slipper pads for a range of 1/10th 2WD buggies. Made from resin-coated carbon fibre the pads will enhance traction for improved acceleration and forward bite while also making for a more aggressive brake control. The plates are available in different variants to fit Team Associated’s B6-series, Yokomo’s YZ-2CA/DT/DTM and also Kyosho’s Ultima and Lazer series of vehicles.
Following a first teaser video Kyosho now officially revealed that they are working on a Javelin re-release buggy. The 1/10th scale icon will feature the distinctive roll cage chassis that made the 1980’s buggy famous with the 4WD buggy being based off of the already released Optima buggy. Thus it will sport red anodised small bore shock absorbers, a redesigned rear wing mount, silver rims with knobby high-grip tyres and just like the other re-release kits Kyosho issued so far, the Javelin will rock several improvements over the original version to ensure it will withstand the brute force of modern day motors and batteries. Kyosho fans rejoice! The Japanese company has released two teaser videos to promote the forthcoming release of two vintage kits one of which seems to be the mighty Javelin – one of the most expensive vintage kits to buy these days. The first video pretty much tells it all as Kyosho aficionados will spot the buggy’s iconic cage while the second clip teases the release of a monster truck-ish type of vehicle. Kyosho have introduced a chassis upgrade set for the TF7 electric touring car. The set includes a new fully symmetrical 2.25mm carbon fibre lower chassis whose specially selected material makes for increased traction while the new motor mount places the motor 2.5mm inwards for optimised left-right weight balance. The mount also allows to use different motor mount patterns and the set also includes a new centre layshaft mount, an alloy battery stop as well as a 2.0mm carbon fibre upper deck and mounting hardware.

T-Works have introduced a range of stainless steel rear chassis skid plates for several 1/8th off-road buggies. Machined from high-quality material and coming laser-engraved for looks the protector plates prevent the rear chassis part from becoming excessively damaged on tracks with large jumps or abrasive surfaces. The sets include two skid plates and they are available for the Kyosho MP9, HongNor X3 Evo, SWorkz buggies, the HB Racing D815/D817/E817 as well as the Mugen MBX7/R.

Kyosho have introduced a machined nylon spur gear for the Optima 4WD re-release vintage buggy. Made from durable yet light material the 51T specification spur makes for an optimised gear ratio when using higher power brushless motors while the tough nylon material improved overall durability compared to the standard 61T composite gear.

Coming from VP-Pro is a new body shell for the Kyosho MP9E 1/8th E-buggy. It is moulded from tough 1.0mm polycarbonate and meant to be a more durable option than the stock body. It comes clear, untrimmed and including window masks.
