Kyosho have released a number of new items to help you either setup your gas car or make working on it easier. Firstly is this ride height and droop gauge set, for both 1/10th scale as well as 1/8th scale cars like the Evolva series. Placing the stepped base under the stepped part at the rear of the Evolva M3 chassis plate, means you can measure the droop precisely regardless of wear of the bottom surface of the chassis. Also new is an adjustment tool for the clutch spring, which performs the job of tightening or loosening the nut simply and precisely. Other tools include a exhaust spring hook & front anti roll bar blade adjuster, a flywheel wrench that makes the installation or removal of your flywheel from any engine a breeze and a new Knife Edge stepped tip reamer, marked at 7mm, 9mm, 11mm, 13mm and 15mm for easy reference. Finally, for keeping your glow plugs at hand for a quick change during a race, Kyosho have release 2 new aluminium glow plug holders, a red version for standard plugs and a purple version for turbo plugs, both holding up to 8 plugs in each.

Kyosho have announced details on the new Ultima RB5 SP Edition, the latest in the Ultima line of vehicles, and a further development of the breed which includes all the enhancements that have been designed by Kyosho engineers and tested over the last couple of years by Kyosho International factory drivers and legends of the RC world. This type of development, along with the uncompromising manufacturing standards and the vast experience that can only be gained from decades of high–level competition, makes the Ultima RB5 SP a strong choice for the 2009 season.

JConcepts D8 & MP9 Illuzion shells

JConcepts have released 2 new buggy shells for the World Championship winning Hot Bodies D8 and the Kyosho Inferno MP9. The Illuzion Hi-Flow body has turned radical, presenting a smooth yet detailed design while incorporating many of the features from the original Hi-Flow body. Special consideration has been made for the MP9 considering the air filter, side guards, battery box and extra clearance around the throttle and brake linkage. In addition, JConcepts has taken the frustration out of the stock body design and has detached the front nose piece for extra durability and functionality, which is now bolted to the front shock tower utilizing an existing non structural 3rd screw. Race inspired aggressive styling, Illuzionized cab and durable design are just some of the features that make these new Illuzion bodies stand out.

Xtreme Racing MP9 Carbon parts

Carbon Fibre specialists Xtreme Racing have released a full range of carbon parts for the Kyosho Inferno MP9. Available in the range are front and rear shock towers, centre diff brace, servo tray and radio brace with all parts made from both black or silver carbon. For strength during landings, the shock towers have been machined out of super strong 4mm thick carbon fibre. Similar parts are also available for the Mugen MBX-6, with only new shock towers available for the Associated RC8-T and SC8.

Kyosho Desert Race Truck RTR

Kyosho have released their entry into the CORR series class with the introduction of the new 1/10th scale DRT, Desert Race Truck. The latest spec .18 powered race truck brings home the goods in this new era of off-road action, with the advanced chassis design promising real racing performance while superior handling allows it to be easy to drive. The stable stance lets you power through the dirt even on blown out 1/8th buggy tracks and takes on big jumps without missing a beat. Under the advanced engineered body is an optimized chassis layout with the DRT sharing many of its parts, option parts and performance with the DBX and DST. Kyosho knows what you want and so the DRT comes fully assembled and ready to hit the dirt.

Kanai Tool Set with Tool Bag

Kyosho now offers the world famous Kanai tools in a complete set that includes a Kyosho tool bag. All tools are made in Japan and made from the top of the line materials. These tools are super light weight and extremely durable and the set includes philips heads, flat heads as well as hex, ball point hex and nut drivers.

Reckward Tuning Inferno MP9 options

Reckward Tuning, who have been hard at work producing their tuning parts, have released some new items for the Kyosho Inferno MP9. First up is the lower rear wishbone mounting bracket that has been machined from aluminium and offers great strength for little weight and is supplied with original Kyosho plastic inserts to allow you to adjust the pivot pin setting. Similarly RT have also created the front upper support bracket from aluminium, which is also lightweight and adds strength to this critical impact area. Finally for the rear differential casing there is a new alloy reinforcement bracket that increases durability of all the parts in this area by reducing play in the casing.

Kyosho Inferno GT Alu uprights

Kyosho has released some new gear for your Inferno GT and Inferno GT2. Now you have the option of replacing the stock nylon rear hubs carrier with Kyosho’s new aluminium uprights. This will greatly increase the life in the rear bearing due to the nylon ring that encases the bearings, which helps decreases wear. Both front and rear hub uprights are made from high grade aluminium and finished in a cool blue finish. The aluminum steering blocks originate from the World Champion Inferno 777 line and are hard coated for extreme durability and long life.
