Pro-Line Vortex for Kyosho Lazer ZX-5

Get ready to cool those high voltage brushed or brushless systems in your Kyosho Lazer ZX-5 with the new Vortex body by Pro-Line. Designed to give your car the latest in off-road styling and function, the Vortex was born from today’s top electric racer IFMAR Off-Road World Champion, Ryan Cavalieri. “We need a body that will better cool the brushless systems we are using and looks like it is ready to compete,” says Ryan Cavalieri. So, Ryan, along with Pro-Line’s body moulding experts, set out to create something that improved the overall performance of the car’s electronics and the car’s performance on the track. With 4 unique cooling features (1 on each side of the body, 1 directly underneath the front wind shield, and 1 on top of the cab), the Vortex received it’s name.

Kyosho Evolva M3 Alu Suspension Mounts

Kyosho have released optional aluminium front suspension mounts for the Evolva M3 1/8 on-road racer, which strengthen the front suspension assembly and improve durability. The machined aluminium mounts are packaged with woven graphite 0.5mm and 1.0mm shims that are used to adjust front suspension geometry, plus all the hardware that’s needed to install the mounts.

Kyosho EM Challenge 2008

With the European Football Championships starting this week hosted by Switzerland & Austria, our friends at Kyosho Germany are running a fun competition to win some great prizes. The first placed price is an Inferno GT Ferrari F430GT, with 2nd place getting a Fazer Audi A4 DTM and 3rd getting a Minium Citabria airplane. Places 4 to 10 will receive a Kyosho t-shirt from their team collection. This competition is in the German language only.

Atomic RC Kysoho Spada 09 tires

More new tires from Atomic RC, this time some foam versions for use on the Kyosho 1/12th scale Spada 09. Pre mounted on white rims, the front tires are available in middle or soft hardnesses, while the rear tires are also available in the same compounds.

Fabrizio Teghesi joins Kyosho

Kyosho Germany have confirmed that front running Italian buggy racer Fabrizio Teghesi has joined their team to race the Japanese company’s buggy and truggy. Starting his racing career with buggies in 2000, the Italian racer was runner up in the National Championships last year, racing for Crono, and will this year compete for Kyosho at both National and International level, including the World Championships in the USA.

Kyosho Inferno MP9 buggy prototype

This strange looking car is in fact the all new Inferno MP9 from Kyosho, the car that the company is confident can defend its World crown in the US this summer. The car, which is obviously still in prototype phase, was shown at this weeks Shizuoka hobby show in Japan, and to cover the parts that they want to keep secret they made this rather cool looking bodyshell. No further details are known, but have a look at the pictures and draw your own conclusions.

Inferno GT Custom Foam bumpers

Kyosho America now offers custom foam bumpers for the Inferno GT and are specially cut to fit the contours of the two most popular bodies, the Aston Martin DBR9 and the Ferrari F430. The high-density foam bumper replaces the smaller stock unit for additional chassis protection, and it better supports the nose of the detailed bodies, preventing vibration and scraping against the ground. These custom bumpers simply bolt in place of the stock bumper and are a must-have for any IGT enthusiast.

Kyosho Spada 09 RD-12EX body

Kyosho have announced the release of a new kit and body combination for their Spada 09, 1/12th scale gas powered chassis. The new combo comes with their all new high downforce RD-12EX, a body shell that improves rear grip and overall handling characteristics.
