Matrix have announced the re-signing of 24-years old Singaporean Nicholas Lee for the 2015 season. Qualifying on the 3 spot at the IFMAR Worlds in Bangkok the 1/10th scale specialist plans to do as much races as he can for Matrix and both he and his tyre sponsor are looking forward to another successful season.

Matrix have announced the renewal of their partnership with Martin Hudy. The international top driver and regular A-main contender is Xray’s very own on-road head designer and in the 2015 season Martin will be present at all major on-road races including the Euro Nitro Series.

Matrix have announced the contract renewal with Italy’s Francesco Tironi. Backed by a long list of accomplishments such as five Italian National titles and European/World Championships podium finishes Francesco is a great asset for the Factory Team and in the 2015 season he will be racing his XRD-powered Shepherd cars at the Italian Nationals, the European Championships, the 1/8th Worlds in Brazil and the whole ENS series, again in the 1/8th scale class.

Italian company Matrix announce the re-signing of former World and European Champion Daniele Ielasi for the 2015 season. The 37 years old RC legend will keep on working closely with Matrix, not only representing the brand on the racetracks, but also helping with development and production.

Following a first teaser image Matrix now officially announce their new Matrix 190mm touring car bodyshell. Offering a flowing design the body is meant to make for a well-balanced handling with exceptional steering response and a stable rear end, resulting in high corner speeds and a unique driving feeling.

Matrix Racing Tires have announced that former European Champion and multiple time German Champion Dirk Wischnewski renewed with the Italian manufacturer for the 2015 season. A 200mm class specialist the 33-years old Sheperd team driver is a regular A-Main finalist at international races, and in 2015 he will be in contention for the European title as well as the Euro Nitro Series title.

Matrix Racing Tires have released a first teaser of their forthcoming touring car bodyshell. No detailed information are available yet but judging from the image it appears to be a 190mm electric TC body with the front rubber tyre lurking under the black towel while the overall appearance of the front section also screams “electric”. Matrix have announced that Former Dutch Champion and 2014 ENS race winner John Ermen will continue with the Italian company for 2015. A driver with more than 20 years of experience, his contribution is very important to the team both in terms of racing and product development. The newly signed ARC team driver will be racing this year’s ENS as well as the Benelux Cup, the German Nationals and the EFRA Euros.
