MST MS-01D re-release RTR drift car

MST have announced the re-release of their popular MS-01D ready-to-run drift car. Discontinued for about three years, the 4WD front-mid motor chassis now again makes an appearance, decked out with MST’s own JZ3 and EG6 body shells. The car features an independent multi-link type double A-arm suspension, front diff and rear spool 4WD drivetrain, fluid-filled shock absorbers and a moulded chassis with an air duct system for efficient cooling of the brushed motor. Includes in the set also come a waterproof Hobbywing speed controller and a Futaba steering servo. The JZ3 and EG6 bodies are available in different colours in gluing red, blue, black and white.

MST MTX-1 4WD drivetrain & aluminium link sets

Coming from MST and made for their MTX-1 off-road truck are two new option parts sets in the form of a 4WD drivetrain kit and an aluminium link set. The 4WD kit will add front wheel drive to the originally rear wheel driven truck with the set including all needed parts such as a metal gear differential, CV-style driveshafts and a telescopic centre front driveshaft. Also new and coming for the MTX-1 truck is an aluminium suspension link set that replaces the standard composite parts for more sturdy and precise alloy items. Included comes all needed mounting hardware such as ball cups and ball studs.

MST TCR-FF 1/10th 2WD touring cars

MST’s TCR-FF series of 1/10th scale 2WD touring cars allow for an easy way to enter the world of electric touring car racing. The basic chassis is highly convertible, as it enables the owner to build either a front motor FWD car, a mid-rear motor or a full rear motor variant, allowing to adapt the chassis to different grip conditions or driving styles. A basic double wishbone suspension ensures good traction and side bite while mock-up brake discs and callipers add a touch of realism for those who wish to build scale touring cars. The car is available as chassis-only kit, as kit including a Honda Civic EG6, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X or Nissan 370Z body and also as ready-to-run offering including a Civic EG6 body shell.

MST XXX-R series brake disc wheel hubs

Coming from MST and made for their XXX-R and XXX-RA series on-road chassis are new front and rear wheel hubs that allow the addition of mock-up brake discs and callipers for a more realistic appearance. The front steering knuckles and rear uprights are moulded from high-quality composite material with the rear hubs also allowing to adjust the outer suspension pin height to access more complex setups. The brake discs also incorporate the wheel hex adapter, making for easy tyre swaps.

MST J45C crawler body shell – Coming soon

MST have released a first image of their new J45C body shell for the CFX-W 1/10th scale crawler. Of an old school design, the highly detailed body will come moulded from high-quality polycarbonate material and the set will include moulded plastic details such as snorkel, mirrors, lights and rear cage. The body is a direct fit for the 313mm wheelbase CFX-W chassis and it is supposed to hit stores this Fall.

MST MTX-1 2WD RTR monster truck

Coming in late September is MST’s new MTX-1 2WD ready-to-run monster truck with TH1 body shell. The 2WD design makes the vehicle ideal for all entry level drivers with a soon-to-be-released 4WD conversion allowing to upgrade the truck if the owner is in need of more forward traction and overall performance. The 463mm long truck comes fully assembled, it features oil-filled shock absorbers, a gear-type differential and large 130x78mm tyres. The RTR kit is decked out with a pre-decorated body shell in a vintage multi-colour racing livery.

MST FXX 2.0 KMW drift car kit – Coming soon

MST have released a couple of teaser images of their forthcoming new FXX 2.0 KMW RWD drift car kit. Equipped with a front motor/rear battery design the car utilises a 3.5mm carbon fibre chassis that shifts the weight bias more towards the rear for improved traction while the new aluminium front motor mount houses the updated upper and lower alloy front arms. A new steering and revised Ackermann geometry allows for greatly increased steering angles and the rear alloy MB suspension with adjustable reactive toe enables the owner to fine-tune increase or decrease the rear slip force. A fully adjustable suspension allows to adapt the chassis perfectly to different driving styles and body shells while purple anodised alloy parts and mock-up brake discs and callipers improve visual impact. The kit will hit stores soon.

MST RMX 2.0 MB rear suspension upgrade sets

Coming from MST and made for their RMX 2.0 range of drift cars is the MV aluminium rear suspension upgrade sets. Available are width adjustable rear lower arms as well as a rear upright set with the arms allowing for a 6mm adjustment range; up to 3mm narrower and 3mm wider than the standard plastic arm while the upright set enable the owner to adjust rear wheel steering if needed. All parts are machined from high-quality aluminium, the sets include mounting hardware and they are available in black or red anodising.
