T-Works have introduced a set of front arm reinforcement inserts for the Mugen MBX8 buggy. The anti-twist bushings inserts directly into the pivot shaft area of the front wishbones, reinforcing the area for less arm twist in grippy conditions while also ensuring longer arm and suspension pin life in the event of a crash. RC Maker touring car floating electronics plates

RC Maker have introduced their new adjustable electronics mounting plates for most of today’s 1/10th electric touring cars. The floating brass mount with central attachment allows for fully floating electronics with absolutely minimal flex interference, giving symmetrical flex, which is not possible in conventional layouts. The plates make it incredibly easy to swap chassis plates, as electronics stay fixed to the plate, making it only two screws to swap all electronics over, without messing with tape. The unique design is making it very easy to swap between chassis manufacturers and try different plates all without having to buy entire new kits while offering left-to-right chassis balance adjustment. Different fastening inserts allow for even greater versatility without the need to buy a whole new set again. Same with changing to different plates and centre weights, they are all compatible with each-other. Beside the double-sided design, RC Maker also offers a single sided set with 4mm of adjustability left and right to adjust the balance bias of the car. Used for the electronics only it allows to tune the chassis balance, and also move weight in or out both sides to adjust the amount of roll in the chassis depending on the traction level. In addition to the brass double and single-sided sets, RC Maker also offer the brass plates separately to conversion double into single and single into double-sided designs. Optional carbon fibre option plates make for reduced overall mass if needed while an optional +10g centre weight adds further weight tuning options. Supported cars include the Yokomo BD8 and BD9, Xray T4 2017 to 2019, Team Associated TC7.1 and TC7.2, Tamiya TRF419X, Awesomatix A800X, Infinity IF14, Xpress XQ1, Mugen MTC1 and ARC R11’19.

Mugen introduce new MBX8 chassis

Coming from Mugen is an updated main chassis for the MBX8 1/8th off-road buggy. The chassis is updated in a way that the E2712 engine mount washers and SJG4x10 screws are now at the same height as the chassis, meaning they do not protrude which makes for more consistent gear mesh, and less chance of collecting dirt, rocks and other debris.

JConcepts S15 MBX8 body shell

Coming for the Mugen MBX8 1/8th nitro buggy is JConcepts’ new S15 body shell. The S15 packs a lot of performance into a stylish package consistent with vehicle upgrades and performance aero enhancements recently made on the racing circuit. The new body blends performance features on the popular Silencer lid with new features such as mid-body winglets and rear stabiliser kick-up. The roof of the body remains strong with the upper fin in position for stability and tracking ability. The engine area remains clean and a deep rooted position allows the engine head maximum side exposure to air and escape. The front and rear body mount area is cleanly designed and allows for a drop-fit on the Mugen MBX8 and older MBX7 kit variants. The S15 stance cockpit allows ample fuel tank access, a smoother high-speed windshield transition which tackles even the most high-speed conditions. The hard edged chamfering provides the classic JConcepts look while also delivering aero benefits and perfect decal positioning. The body comes clear, with window masks and a decal sheet.
