During this week’s IFMAR 1/10th 200mm World Championships in Gubbio, Italy, Mugen Seiki have introduced what will be a future “R” version of their successful MTX-6 200mm car. Mugen Seiki development driver Takaaki Shimo is running a pre-production car, as featured in our Chassis Focus here, and now Mugen have released a couple of detail images of the updated parts that include a new main chassis, lightweight hard-anodised wheel axle shafts, hard compound suspension components, updated carbon fibre shock tower parts as well as a range of front bumper weights to attach to the also redesigned bumper. Also included will be a shiny clutchbell and also updated upper bulkhead covers. More information on the final specification will become available in time for the release.
