CSO MTX-5 & MRX-5 aluminium shock bodies

CSO have released these optional shock bodies for Mugen’s MTX-5 and MRX-5 chassis. The parts are CNC machined from high-quality 7075 T6 aluminium for reduced chance of breakage during racing and are hard coated for a smooth movement of the shock’s piston.

Mugen Seiki MBX6R buggy

Mugen Seiki have announced the MBX6R based off the ultra successful MBX6 buggy. The 6R contains many high performance parts that the Mugen Seiki design team have created. The buggy comes equipped with a new 5mm longer had anodized chassis and a forward mounted receiver & battery tray, something which we have seen previously. The combination of both new items will improve handling in all bumps and jumps and the increase in stability means you can drive the MBX6R harder and faster. To further improve the handling a new set of front and rear damper springs and chassis braces are included. An aluminium rear toe in block with various toe in and anti squat adjustments and an aluminium front upper suspension arm holder with adjustable roll centre positions will keep the car dialed into all race conditions. The give the new buggy the finishing touch it comes supplied with the newly designed Force cab forward body from Bitty Design in Italy.

Asian company CSO release two new option parts for the Mugen MTX-5 1/8 scale on-road chassis. Available are lightweight CVD swing shaft set CNC-machined from high-quality spring steel. The parts are hardcoated for best possible durability. Also available is a 3.2mm aluminium chassis plate. The CNC-machined option part features a hardcoating and an engraved scale on the bottom to estimate the fuel level.

Bittydesign have announced that their MBX-6 Force shell is now available. The body that won the European Championships mounted to the car of Robert Batlle, the cab forward body adds “more feeling and more steering” according to the 2-time champion. The body which is made from 1mm thick, high quality, genuine Lexan is sold with windows masks, protective film, and decal sheets. Available now online from Bitty direct, it will hit dealers in about 2 weeks.

CSO RX8, MRX5 options & exhaust seals

CSO release new option parts for the Xray RX8, Mugen MRX5 and general use. The front universal swing shafts for the RX8 are machined from high-grade spring steel, hard coated and allow the use of either wheel nuts of quick change systems to secure the tyres. Made for the RX8 and MRX5 are lightweight front oneway steel axles. Again the parts are hard coated to maximise durability.   Also new are high temperature silicone engine gaskets for .12 and .21 engines. The durable purple-coloured parts make for a tight fitment of the manifold and pipe to avoid performance losses caused by insufficient sealing.
