Mugen MTX-5 of Robert Pietsch

With World Champion on road racer Robert Pietsch visiting the offroad Euros last week in Germany, he brought along with him the all new MTX-5 1/10th 200mm chassis for us to take a look at. Having written about the car previously there is no need to go into details about its unique features other than to say that the whole package looks pretty good in the flesh. We are told that the car is close to hitting the shops and for next week’s European Championships in Ettlingen, Germany the car will make its international race debut in the hands of Pietsch, the car in the photos is his race car, Rick V and Francesco Tironi. Arrowmax MRX-5 rear lower arm shaft

Shortly after releasing front lower suspension arm shafts for Mugen’s MRX-5 1/8 scale on-road car Arrowmax now comes up with suitable parts for the rear end. Made from high-quality spring steel the shafts come as pair and are titanium-nitride coated for reduced friction and enhanced durability.

KM Racing MRX-5 radio plate flex mount

KM Racing offers a radio plate flex mount for the Mugen MRX-5. Machined from steel and hardened for increased rigidity the part offers long life characteristics and is a direct replacement for the stock part.

Arrowmax release special front lower arm shafts for the Mugen MRX-5 1/8 scale on-road chassis. Made from high-quality spring steel the shafts are titanium-nitride coated for reduced friction and enhanced durability. The shafts are a direct replacement and available now.

Mugen MTX-5 1/10th 200mm chassis

Mugen Seiki Japan have released the first photos and specs for their all new 1/10th 200mm chassis, the MTX-5. Shown in CAD form for the first time at last February’s Toy Fair in Germany, the Robert Pietsch designed car looks close to release, however no date has yet been set.

Mugen MRX5 WC Limited Edition

To celebrate the winning of their latest World Title, Mugen Seiki have announced the release of the MRX5 WC Limited Edition. Only 180 kits will be available around the globe and the future owners will have the chance to get this exclusive kit, DNA of European & World Champion’s Robert Pietsch winning car. This World Edition kit features the latest and finest parts used at this in Florida such as the new clutch system and new lightweight front axles. And to bring out the true potential of this car, it comes also supplied with steel engine mounts, brass battery holder and radio tray holder all made in Germany. The chassis plates will be numbered and it comes with a certificate when it goes on sale from the end of July.

Arrowmax MRX5 48T aluminium rear pulley

In addition to the full series of Mugen MRX5 transmission belt pulleys from Arrowmax, they today have released the 48T rear axle pulley. CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminium it too is completely true and has been hard-coated for extra durability. Light weight, it features holes in the side wall to help debris escape and dissipate heat produced by friction.
