The weapon of choice? Pro-Line Revolver 1/8 Off-Road Tyres

How much influence do tyres have on the handling of a racing car? 30 percent? 60 percent? Up to 75 percent and more, according to chassis designers and Pro drivers alike. That’s why tyre choice is so critical on the cars overall performance and the reason why so many different companies all over the world offer tons and tons of different treads, compounds and even rims. All of them want to produce THE tyre. One of the most proactive manufacturers in the game is Pro-Line Racing based in sunny California, USA. Products like the Knuckles 2.0, Bow-Tie and Crimefighter are backed with wins at IFMAR World Championships and countless national and international titles. The newest addition to their range is the Revolver tyre and once again it is a true winner although it was released only a couple of days before the 2008 1/8 off-road World Championship in North Carolina after a very short development time.

Pro-Line Carnage Desert Rat for Slash

Anyone who has ever watch CORR series racing knows that the cars tend to look rather 2nd hand after some close racing. Pro-Line have recognized this and have released a World’s first, an RC body with breakaway panels. The Carnage Desert Rat is the usual good looking offering from Pro-Line but the front and rear fenders can come off when impacted, adding to the scale realism. Simply install the included 3M® lock material and your ready to rumble again, and again, and again. Pro-Line Shift for Hot Bodies D8

Another body shell for the World Champion Hot Bodies D8, with Pro-Line releasing their offering, the Shift. Featuring super-low styling, it gives your D8 the lowest center of gravity possible, while it has been fabricated to fit snugly around each chassis component. Made from durable/genuine .040 Lexan, it is supplied with decal sheet, window masks and paint-then-peel overspray film.

Pro-Line Revolver & Bow Tie pre mounts

Pro-Line have released their latest buggy tire range as pre mounts. Tires to get the pre mount treatment are the World Champion Revolver, Revolver V3 and Bow-Tie V3. All are available pre glued to white or yellow dish wheels and come in M2 and M3 compounds.

Pro-Line Pit bag and Tools

Pro-Line have released some more new items, including this new pit bag, which is made to resist wear and endure all those trips to and from the track and beyond. The cover itself is made from a durable nylon, while corrugated plastic storage boxes keep your stuff secure and resist tearing and warping under the most extreme conditions. Each storage box includes an injection molded plastic handle insert and injection molded leading edge insert for easy sliding in and out of each box. Internal storage includes one extra-large compartment is at the top of the bag, one large compartment is located in the middle of the bag, and two medium compartments are located at the base of the bag. A retractable handle slides in-and-out for easy towing of your bag and heavy-duty wheels are located on the opposite side for effortless ease of towing as well. Also new is company’s range of tools, super durable, the tips are made from high strength steel and finished off with a titanium color finish. The handles are made of lightweight aluminium and are complete with a hard anodized finish. Available in a wide range of tip sizes and are sold individually or in kits.

Pro-Line V3 Tires & Velocity wheels

Pro-Line have released the V3 versions of both the Bow-Tie and the Revolver, both of which are 4.6mm wider then standard versions. The added width adapts 1 more row of center lug Bow-Tie’s to the tire and 2 more rows of tread to the tire on the Revolver. Not only do the additional knobs create more traction but they also make the tire last longer. With the Bow Tie V3 the bumps seem to vanish as the additional center lug assist in keeping the car straight as you throttle out of corners and over those acceleration bumps, while with the Revolver V3 blue-groove tracks become increasingly easier to go the distance in those long mains or during those long practice sessions. To cater for the new tires, these Velocity V3 wheels are nearly 5mm wider than the V2 wheels, and they allow your buggy to transfer around corners more consistently and in a straighter line over the roughest parts of the track. The width of the wheel has been extended towards the inner part of the wheel, or center of the buggy, so track width integrity has been maintained.
