Pro Line Baja 5b Desert Rat body

After numerous request to make an after market shell for the HPI Baja 5b, Pro-Line have introduced the Desert Rat. Styled after their successful line of Desert Rat truck bodies, the Baja 5b captures the essence of what Desert Racing is all about. The highlight of the body are the pronounced front windshield area, while it’s taller height reduces the amount of dirt and rocks that can hit the filter and/or get lodged inside the chassis.

Pro Line LPR Truggy Pre Mounts

Pro Line are now offering their range of LPR (low profile race) truggy tires in pre-mounted versions. Pro-Line’s new LPR pre-mounts allow more time for tuning, are truer than the average mounted tire, are adhered with an ultra-bond CA for a secure, worry free bond, and are backed with Pro-Line quality. Never again will you have to worry about misaligning the tire with the wheel, not finish a qualifier or main event due to glue failure or worry about making your next run in time with pre-mounted Pro-Line tires for 1:8 Trucks. Pro-Line’s pre-mounted 1:8 LPR tires are glued to Velocity dish wheels in standard offset or ½” offset and available in gleaming white or vibrant Pro-Line yellow.

Pro Line HoBao Hyper 8.5 Crowd Pleazer

Pro Line have introduced some new items this month starting with the release of the Crowd Pleazer 2 for the HoBao Hyper 8 / 8.5. The Crowd Pleazer 2.0 is certain to provide racers with the groundb reaking design cues they demand in a body and incorporates ultra-low styling, original bodylines, and functionality to bring you the latest in high performance race technology. Pro Line have announced 2 updates to their extensive tire range with the introduction of the Crime Fighter to the company’s LPR range of tires. As the truggy class has evolved into pure performance trucks over such a short amount of time, the need for a tire that could meet and exceed those same performance needs was inevitable. Low Profile Race (LPR) means pure performance and Pro Line stretched the boundaries by offering less sidewall flex, greater response, more forward bite and all at a total weight savings. Also new is the introduction of the Hole Shot 4wd front tire, the first tire available on the electric scene in Square Lug Technology, which delivers performance at all levels of racing in just about every category of racing imaginable. Coupled with R3 material and your 4wd is ready for battle on many of today’s blue-groove surfaces.

Pro Line Hole Shot LPR

Yet more releases from Pro Line, the LPR Holeshot is the latest generation in tire design for 1:8 trucks. As the class has evolved into pure performance trucks over such a short amount of time, the need for a tire that could meet and exceed those same performance needs was inevitable. Pro Line stretched the boundaries by offering less sidewall flex, greater response, more forward bite and all at a total weight savings. At just 122 grams per tire, it is the lightest ROAR spec legal tire on the market.

Pro Line LPR Velocity wheels

New for 1:8 truck owners from Pro Line are these new LPR line of Velocity wheels for 17mm hexes. Weighing in at just 55 grams for standard offset and 58 grams for ½” offset, the new LPR wheels are the lightest 3.7” wheels on the market. Special high-strength/light weight nylon are used to get the weight to a minimum while enduring the punishment 1:8 trucks typically see.
