Coming from Swiss company UFRA is a new line of wet weather foam tyres for 1/8th and 1/10th scale on-road cars. Pre-mounted and pre-trued for most of today’s nitro on-road cars the tyres are available on white rims only.
Serpent have introduced three new kits based on their popular Cobra GT 1/8th GT. The pre-assembled kits allow to get on the track earlier and easier while accepting your choice of electronic and engines. All kits come factory-assembled and pre-set, they feature universal driveshafts, a 3-diff 4WD drivetrain, 16mm big bore shock absorbers, front and rear anti-roll bars and they build on 3mm heavy-duty aluminium chassis. Also included are clear bodyshells and pre-mounted high-grip tyre on BBS-style wheels. Available are the GT RaceRoller, the GT RaceRoller Cup Version for the Chinese Serpent GT Cup, including a Novarossi 3-port pull starter engine and also the GT-E RaceRoller for 1/8th electric motors. VBC Racing have introduced three brass suspension mounts for the Wildfire D08 touring car. Available is a 10.9g FR mount, a set of 4.3g split inner suspension blocks and also an outer 9.5g block. The brass parts are around four times heavier than the standard aluminium mounts and they help to fine tune the weight balance of the car while also doing away with the need to use a large amount of unsightly stick-on wheel balance weights. The mounts are available separately and they are a direct fit on the D08.
Avid’s all-new Slop Shock O-ring lube will provide nearly frictionless lubrication for shock and differential O-rings and doesn’t washout or swell from silicone shock oil. The lube comes in a handy 4.5ml container and also protects against corrosion while being fully compatible with the temperature range found in RC racing.

Schumacher have announced the release of a centre weight for the Atom GT12 car. Traditionally GT12 cars are underweight and the positioning of additional ballast is a great tuning aid. This new centre weight for the Atom adds 40 grams of weight straight in the centre of the car, giving a great deal of benefits to the cars performance including a lower centre of gravity and a reduced polar moment. The black anodised weight is also stronger than the kit part and makes for easier assembly.

Coming from Exotek are the 1/8 XL aluminium wing buttons. The heavy-duty polished and anodised alloy wing buttons are of an extra large 22mm diameter and thicker than 1/10 buttons to securely hold any 1/8th scale wing while offering protection from crashes. They use a 3mm countersunk screw and are available in a range of colours including red, orange, blue, black and gun metal.
Team Losi Racing have introduced their all-new 5ive-B 1/5th scale 4WD race buggy kit. Purpose-designed for competition use the buggy is inspired by TLR’s 8ight 1/8th scale buggy platform and it is based on a hard-anodised 5mm 6061-T6 short wheelbase aluminium chassis. Milled pockets make for optimised flex and the lowest possible weight. The suspension package uses hard anodised 24mm shock absorbers and heavy duty aluminium shock towers. The shocks also benefit from X-rings, shock boots and TiCN shock shafts for smooth, consistent performance. The shock towers offer multiple shock mounting options that give racers an abundance of tuning options for different track conditions. Adjustable toe and anti-squat plates allow to tune the suspension geometry as known from the smaller 1/8th buggies.
Leadfinger Racing have announced the release of the pre-cut Hammer 1/8th off-road wing. Designed to withstand even the hardest of crashes the wing features a special design as, by smoothing out the surface on the top of the wing, durability increased dramatically. The same theory was applied to the rear. By eliminating the bolt on wicker bill, no holes need to be drilled. Instead, LFR has created a built in wicker that is moulded into the design. The last step was to make it look more characteristic to an 1/8 thawing, and get away for the 1/10 look. This was accomplished by dropping the side dams which in turn helped to create some serious down force. To make things easier for the racer the wing comes pre-cut, doing away with the hassle to cutting the ultra thick polycarbonate.
