Reds Racing have added new 2S LiPo hardcase battery packs to their recently announced 4S range. Build from 100C high-performance cells the batteries are ideal for competition use and they are available as high-capacity 8000mAh and lightweight 6000mAh standard-size 7.6V HV packs with 5mm bullet-type connectors and also as 5600mAh HV and 4600mAh standard voltage shorty packs – the latter two utilising 4mm connectors.

Reds Racing have announced the release of their all-new 14.8V 4S hardcase LiPo battery packs. Available as 8000mAh 100C and 6500mAh 75C variants, both are made of high-quality cells and they come in a protective hardcase pre-wired with industry-standard balancer ports and T-type connectors. The 4S packs are ideal for competition 1/8th scale on-road and off-road usage with 1/10th and 1/12th scale 2S and 1S packs following at a later date.
Reds Racing have released the V2.1 Tetra Clutch system setup specifically configured for the 721 Scuderia off-road engine. The clutch features aluminium shoes and four 1.0 springs which improve the 721 Scuderia engine power delivery. The clutch assembly combined with Reds Racing Clutch bells have proven to guarantee extraordinary fuel mileage in recent tests and competitions and the clutch set is available both with 32mm and 34mm diameter to make it suitable for any type of car. Optional parts to further fine-tune the performance include high Inertia flywheels for low acceleration, recommended for low grip tracks, and low inertia flywheels for high acceleration, recommended for high grip tracks. Using the configurable top plate and springs, there are also six other combinations to further tune clutch action: 1.0 and 1.1 mm springs and three preload adjustments with the top plate.

Reds Racing from Italy have introduced their all-new ZX Pro 160A 1/10th scale brushes speed controller. The no-compromised ESC was developed with the input of Reds Racing’s international team of factory drivers and it features an updated firmware with new algorithms for throttle and brake control that result in the smoothest possible throttle and very strong brake feeling. At 95g including wires the controller is also lighter than the previous version while offering new programming functions. The speedo features a built-in power switch and programming port, it utilises a switchable 6V/7.4V BEC system as well as a 30mm fan unit. The ZX Pro is available separately, including programming box or Z-Line motors.

Having teased their new release on social media, Reds Racing have finally introduced their new generation of nitro off-road engines called S Line, the first of which is a 7 ports 3.5cc off-road engine called the 721 S Scuderia. The new 721 S Scuderia features high reliability, tuning stability and great fuel mileage which combined with specific technical changes in the porting and new materials, give this 7 port engine higher power and better fuel efficiency compared to previous Reds engine. Testing has show the new engine is able to provide 10% more torque, making it suitable for both Buggy and Truggy and has proved to guarantee over 9 minutes runtime in recent competitions and tests thanks to new materials and coatings.

Coming from Reds Racing are two new winding variants of their Gen 2 V8 brushless motors for 1/8th applications. The motors are specifically designed 1/8th off-road and on-road variants to provide exceptional power, superior smoothness and control in combination with high efficiency and a low temperature operation. Coming with a highly finned CNC-machined aluminium can, the V8 motor work at very low temperature in all conditions ensuring exceptional reliability. New for 2019 are the 2350kV variant for truggies and pan cars while the 2800kV motor was developed for 1/8th on-road racing.

Following the popular return of Cody King to RC racing, Reds Racing have announced the signing the former IFMAR 1/8th Nitro Buggy World Champion. Cody and his dad Paul were integral in the advancement of the Reds Racing product line since 2013 and Reds Racing are pleased to have them back on board to start the next chapter of the 2010 IFMAR World Champion’s career.
