Serpent 748 brass suspension bracket & alloy CVDs

Serpent 748 brass suspension bracket & alloy CVDs

Serpent have introduced new optional parts for the Natrix 748 1/10th nitro touring car in the form of a brass front suspension bracket and lightweight aluminium driveshaft parts. Starting with the front suspension bracket, the part is machined from heavy brass material to add weight up front and very low in the cars which helps to counter traction rolling in high-bite track conditions. 29g heavier than the standard alloy bracket the brass part is best combined with the sliding brass chassis weights and it is a direct fit on the 748.

Serpent SRX8 Pro shock sets & shock caps

Serpent SRX8 Pro Shock sets & shock caps

Serpent have introduced the Pro Shock set for the SRX8 1/8th off-road buggy. Usable as emulsion or membrane shocks the dampers allow for a wider range of setups to suit a range of track conditions. The emulsion shocks give more on and off-throttle traction and the sets include all needed parts to built both types of shocks including the new-type shock caps that can take the emulsion-type shock seals or membrane-type volume compensators. Also included are titanium-nitride coated shock shafts, hard-coated shock bodies, high-quality O-ring seals, machined pistons and rubber boots. The shock caps are also available separately as 2-piece sets to upgrade existing shocks and they include all needed seals and hardware.

Serpent Viper 977 Rear End Upgrade set

Serpent Viper 977 rear end upgrade set-1

Coming from Serpent and made for the Viper 977 1/8th on-road kit is the Rear End Upgrade set. Usable on the standard 977 and also the Evo, the included parts move the inner hinge pins closer to the centre line of the chassis which in combination with longer pivotballs makes for effectively longer suspension arms. The upgrade results in more overall traction, a more stable rear end both under acceleration and braking and thus overall higher corner speeds. The set includes new main bearings blocks, rear plate, suspension brackets and shock mounts as well as longer steel pivot balls, a new carbon fibre camber bracket and it is rounded out by longer camber rods, ball joints and pivot balls.
