Serpent Eryx 4.0 low-friction shock parts

Serpent Eryx 4.0 low-friction shock parts

Coming from Serpent are low-friction shock parts for the Eryx 4.0 touring car. Made from a new orange-colour material the shock pistons and lower shock bushings help to reduce the friction within the dampers for improved shock efficiency and on-track performance. All parts are fully machined to ensure high precision and a perfect fit. The pistons are available as 1 to 4-hole variants in sets of four with the shock bushings also coming in a 4-piece set. An upcoming running change to the Eryx 4.0 is the updated front bumper whose posts sit closer together to better suit today’s bodyshell lines. The respective carbon fibre bumper plate is now available separately and it will also find its way into the 4.0 kit from the next batch on.

Serpent SRX4 4WD buggy aluminium chassis kit

Serpent SRX4 4WD buggy aluminium chassis kit

Serpent’s SRX4 1/10th scale 4WD buggy is now also available with an alloy main chassis plate. While the original kit with carbon fibre chassis is working well in low to medium grip conditions, the aluminium chassis car was designed for medium to high-grip conditions as the alloy chassis is much stiffer than the carbon fibre variant, making for less chassis flex and thus a more consistent handling and faster laptimes on carpet and astro turf tracks. Apart from the hard-anodised 7075-T6 aluminium chassis the alloy kit offers the same features and specifications as the carbon fibre kit and it is available now.
