Serpent Decals & Information on Future releases

Serpent have introduced 2 new types of promotional vinyl decal to show your brand allegiance. Both feature the same design but one is smaller (20x12cm) and is sold in a pair, while the other is larger (40x25cm) with both perfect for pit boxes, cases and other things you bring to the track. More importantly Serpent have also announced that they will release the first details of their new Billy Easton designed 1/8th scale buggy in the next 2 weeks as well as information concerning a new brushless powered 966 and the link version of the S120, which was used to win the first round of the European Pan series in Germany. We will of course bring you all the details as we get them.

CSO Hard Coated Pullies for 733

CSO Racing in Hong Kong have released this complete range of hard anodised pulleys for the Serpent 733. Made from high quality 7075 T6 aluminium which has been coated for extra durability, the set has all the small pullies and also includes the large ones used on the front and rear differential. The sides of each tooth has a hole in the side wall to allow dirt to escape and to also lighten the pulley overall.

Serpent 733 Solid front axle

New for the Serpent 733 1/10th scale 200mm chassis is this solid front axle. A combination of strong spring steel axle with an aluminium pulley flange, both the steel axle and the aluminium part have been lightened as much as possible. A nice tuning option, the same pulley from the front differential can also used for this spool.

Serpent 733 Sirio engine mount

Serpent have released this new top-engine mount bracket to allow the user to fit the latest version Sirio .12 engines into the 733 chassis. Due to the positioning of the holes of the Sirio engine-mount and the case shape being different, this special mount is needed. Made from top quality CNC machined aluminium, it has been engraved and anodised and is a direct replacement, with no other modifications needed.

Team Titan 966 Pinions, Pulley & Wheel nuts

New from Team Titan for the Serpent 966 are a number of machined aluminium items, including these pinions. Available in 3 versions, two first gears (15T & 16T) and one second gear (19T), all are hard coated, highly precise and durable with the first gears made from 7075 T5 aluminium, while the second gear is 7075 T6. Other new items include a 18T side belt pulley that claims to eliminate the main shaft play that’s evident in the original design. Finally there are lightweight wheel nuts for the car, which we saw in Lostallo, that are silver anodised, sport extra holes for weight savings and sport 2 o-rings on the thread to ensure it stays tight.

CSO 733 Front brackets & NT1 diff pins

Hong Kong based CSO have released some new parts for the Serpent 733 and the Xray NT1. For the Serpent, there are these new front suspension brackets made from 7075 T6 aluminium that are stronger than the standard plastic items that come with the kit. They directly replace the original part and hold hold the upper and lower suspension pins to the rear of the wishbone. For the NT1, CSO have introduced super lightweight, yet strong, titanium pins for use in the gear differential.

Serpent +1mm & -1mm Hex wheel adapters

New for the 733 as well as a whole range of other 200mm and 190mm chassis’, comes these 2 new hex wheel adapters. Made from orange anodised precision machined aluminium, they now come in +1mm and -1mm versions to allow you to easily adjust your car’s offset. They are mounted to the wheel axle by clamping them with the supplied high quality steel allen screws and come sold in a complete set of 4.

Serpent 16T & 25T aluminium pulleys

New from Serpent for their 960 and 966 chassis’, comes 2 new aluminium pulleys. Available in 16T and 25T versions, they have been hard-anodized, engraved with the tooth number and come complete with the grub-screw. These lower friction aluminium pulleys ensure that less dust and dirt will attach to the metal, which keeps the drivetrain smooth.
