Shepherd introduce the chassis stiffener set for the Velox V10 Twelve 200mm nitro on-road car. Designed to give the chassis more longitudinal stiffness the parts prevent gear damage on bumpy tracks. Included in the set are a high-quality carbon brace, a special gearbox bulkhead machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and all needed fasteners. All parts are also available separately.

The second round of the Greek national championship took place at the Arena Race Track. After the four qualification rounds three Shepherd drivers were placed into the A final and three into the B final. In the A final Sidiropoulos and Likaris took second and third place at the grid. After some thrilling 45 minutes the winner of the A final was Bill Likaris some three laps ahead of Sotiropoulos in second place with Christodoulou completing the podium in third place. The win brings Bill Likaris a good position for the 2012 Greek championship with Costas Sidiropoulos currently holding second place.

Shepherd have announced that their new Velox V10 ‘twelve’ kits are now available. The kit inlcudes the new rear end for a ball-raced rear anti-roll bar as well as stronger body posts for the front and the rear. The ball-raced anti-roll bar has a much better response leading to improved traction when accelerating while the new stronger body posts feature adjustable plates to fine tune the height of the body in 3 steps. Of course the Velox V10 ‘twelve’ relies on many established features like the ‘Direct-V-Brake System’, easy differential maintenance, adjustable servo saver and many others.

Shepherd have introduced a new accessory to make life easier when you’re trackside, the all new Shepherd pitlane bag. Manufactured from super lightweight high-quality wear-resistant material it’s equipped with a large number of different pockets for various items such as tools, glowstarter, fuel bottle, spare tyres, stop watch and other items that are commonly needed in the pitlane. The main compartment offers enough space for all kinds of starterboxes as well as a fuel can. Extra flexible straps on the outside for a fuel gun ensure that you don’t have to worry about leakage inside the pitlane bag. The reinforced sidewalls are easy to assemble/disassemble and keep all goods safely at their place. Shepherd have announced that the conversion kit for the Velox V10 ‘twelve’ is available. The upgrade kit includes all parts for the new ball-raced rear anti-roll bar as well as stronger body posts for the front and the rear to convert the Velox V10 to the latest edition. The ball-races anti-roll has a much better response leading to an improved traction when accelerating while the new stronger body posts feature adjustable plates to fine tune the height of the body in 3 steps. Soon the complete kit will be available too.
