STRC Slash & SC10 option parts

ST Racing Concepts have released more short course option parts, this time for the Slash 4×4 & 2wd as well as the Associated SC10. First up for the Slash 2wd is this aluminum motor heat sink plate. CNC Machined from high-grade aluminium to fit perfectly into the contour of the Slash 2wd motor mounting area, this plate helps support the plastic transmission/motor mounting area on the Slash 2wd transmission case and help dissipate heat better. . Next up for the Slash 2wd is this HD layshaft that allows the use of the Associated slipper clutch system which gives a more consistent slipper feel and more spur gear options to accommodate for gear ratios of today’s brushless motor. For the Slash 4×4 is this ESC mounting plate, which has been CNC machined from 2.5mm thick aluminium, it provides a solid flat piece of surface area for mounting most electronic speed controls on the market today. Using existing chassis holes, this plate will not flex or twist like fiberglass or lexan material mounting plates and prevents damage to the ESC. Finally for the SC10 are these aluminium hex adapter that allows the car to use the more standardized 12mm hex type short course wheels. Machined to be as thin as possible to keep the rear tires of the SC10 under the body and not to alter the rear width too much. The aluminium parts are available in anodized blue, red, silver and gun metal.

STRC Slash 2WD LCG conversion kit

ST Racing Concepts have released their LCG (low centre of gravity) conversion kit for the Traxxas Slash 2WD Short Course truck. This simple, yet economical and easy to bolt on conversion utilizes the existing Traxxas Rustler chassis components and delivers a huge on track performance improvement over the stock configuration Slash. All components have been CNC machined from high-grade aluminium and all necessary hardware is included for installation. Track testing has shown that this kit allows for a 1-1.5 seconds per lap drop in lap times and allowed the Slash to be right in the mix with today’s stadium truck based short course trucks. Available in blue, gun metal, red and silver.

STRC Slash 2WD LCG conversion kit

ST Racing Concepts have given us a sneak preview of their new simple, economical and easy to bolt on Slash 2WD LCG conversion kit utilizing the existing Traxxas Rustler chassis. The kit helps improve performance by dropping the battery by more than 2 inches vs. stock chassis, using a lay down servo position, a slightly shorter wheelbase for more nimble response and more stability in high speed cornering. Expect the kit to be released in 3 weeks.

STRC Jammin SCRT10 option parts

STRC have released a number of new optional parts for the Jammin SCRT10. All the new products have been precision CNC machined from high-grade aluminium and grey anodised. The new caster blocks and steering knuckle greatly improves durability and add that great factory looks to the front suspension of your Jammin SCRT10. The Steering Knuckle increases the steering angle over the stock plastic unit for even tighter turning radius, and for precise fit and tolerance, the bearing holes are drilled after the part has been anodized to ensure the tightest tolerance possible around the bearings. New  heavy duty front and rear shock towers will not only add great looks to your Jammin SCRT10, but it will eliminate the flex in your shock tower, keeping your suspension operating true to its design. The new center bulkhead will eliminate any flex in the center transmission area due to heavy torque loads from powerful brushless motors. The 12mm Machined Hex adapters securely mounts on your Jammin SCRT10 wheels and tires with no chance of it being “round off” under heavy torque and power loads. Finally there are front and rear chassis braces that provide the front and rear end of your chassis with better support, and prevent the chassis from “buckling” under hard landing and bending the center driveshafts.

Precision CNC machined from high-grade aluminium, they greatly improve durability and adds that great factory looks to the front suspension of your HPI Blitz. In-line geometry will give your HPI Blitz more steering and help the truck navigate the tighter turns around the track. Available anodized in gun metal, silver, orange and limited edition red. For the Associated SC10 short course truck, its popular line of option parts now gets a new color, the more racer preferred gun metal anodizing. ST Racing Concepts has released a complete steering bellcrank set for the HPI Blitz. Because of the type of nylon composite material used on the Blitz, while durable for suspension components, it tends to make the steering components flex under heavy load or from high-torque servos. STRC’s aluminium steering bellcrank system add great precision to the steering and take away any flex. A full set of 4 ball bearings are also included to make sure the bellcrank system operate smoothly and it is available in orange, gun metal, silver and limited edition red. STRC have also introduced a CNC machined aluminium adjustable position battery plate for the OFNA Hyper 10SC that allows owners to adjust the weight distribution of the battery side on the truck. The plate allows for 10mm, 20mm, 30mm move back towards the rear of the truck from stock battery position (In 10mm increments). Available in gun metal or limited edition silver. Finally on to tools where the CNC machined aluminium 4mm/5mm universal turnbuckle wrench is now available in anodized Black, while their popular shock shaft pliers are now available in limited edition blue. Also the CNC machined aluminum 17mm/23mm combo wrench is also now available in red and black.

ST Racing Concepts have released a huge selection of option parts for the Traxxas Slash 4×4 starting with this CNC machined aluminium multi-piece steering bellcrank set that greatly increases the durability and takes out any flex in the kit plastic bellcrank system providing a more precise steering feel. New CNC machined aluminium front c-hubs, steering knuckle and rear hub carriers greatly improves the durability of those areas and add that great factory look. The rear hub carriers feature a set-screw over hinge-pin design that securely keep the hub carriers on the hinge-pins, and also keep the wear to a minimum by making the hinge-pins rotate in the arms and not in the aluminium hub carriers while also increasing the durability. Greatly reduce the flex of the stock plastic towers with the new CNC machined aluminium HD front and rear shock towers.
