STRC Izilla Wraith monster truck racing chassis

Following a first teaser ST Racing Concepts have now released more information on their Izilla monster truck racing chassis conversion for the Axial Wraith. The kit uses stock Axial Wraith components and bolts right on in less than 30 minutes, however, this chassis was designed for more than just bashing, it was made with racing performance in mind as well, thanks to a low centre of gravity design with the heavy electronics of battery, ESC and receiver box placed just over the centre transmission. The chassis places the bulk of the weight right in the middle and as low as possible. Unlike other chassis kits the Izilla places the stock Wraith battery tray side by side with the included aluminium electronics plate, with plenty of space for mounting aftermarket ESCs. The battery is also placed on the opposing side of the motor for a better left/right balance while adjustable forward or rear bias weight distribution is possible.

STRC Wraith monster truck racing chassis kit

ST Racing Concepts have released first images of their forthcoming CNC-machined aluminium monster truck racing chassis kit for the Axial Wraith. The direct bolt on kit lowers the electronics and battery mounting, it offers adjustable weight distribution of the electronics, and the option to mount the Wraith sway bar kit. STRC SCX10 off-axle servo mount & panhard kit

New from ST Racing Concepts comes the SCX10 off-axle servo mount and panhard combo kit for those of that are after the utmost scale realism. The kit will take the highly visible front steering servo off the axle and mounts it on to the chassis rail for a greatly improved look of the front end. The servo is mounted on the chassis rails using two solid CNC-machined aluminium servo mounts that are keyed into the chassis rails and secured using just one screw for each servo mount. The panhard rod is made with a heat treated black oxide steel that mounts from the steering knuckle kingpin screw and spans across to the other side of the chassis rails on a specially CNC-machined aluminium panhard mount. This setup allows the suspension to feel smooth and allow for the most shock compression due to the smaller diameter of the steel link versus aluminium tube links. To maximise the clearance of the upper link, a new suspension link is machined specifically for this kit with a 7mm diameter for the threaded area and taper down to a 5mm solid centre portion so as the suspension compressed, this extra bit of clearance from the smaller centre diameter again allows for the most shock compression before the upper link comes in contact with anything on the chassis rails. The kit is available with or without the required Axial aluminium steering kit and in the three colours of scale black, gun metal and natural silver.

STRC Ascender aluminium steering knuckles

STRC’s new aluminium steering knuckles for the Vaterra Ascender and Bronco trucks help to add visual impact and improve the durability over the standard parts. The high-quality, CNC-machined steering knuckles eliminate unwanted flex for more durability and they also greatly increase the precision and capability of the truck’s steering. The parts are available in stealth black, gun metal, and natural silver anodising.

STRC B5M 3-gear aluminium motor plate

New from STRC comes the 3-gear aluminium motor plate for Team Associated fifth generation vehicles that use this specific gearbox setup. The CNC-machined motor plate features milled heat-sink fins to help dissipate heat from the motor and also elongated motor screw hole slots to allow for larger pinion gear to be installed without having to change out a spur gear, making it great for 17.5T stock racing. The motor plate is available in anodised blue, stealth black, gun metal and natural silver.

STRC Ascender diff cover & PL beadlock rings

ST Racing Concepts have introduced an aluminium diff cover for the Vaterra Ascender truck as well as beadlock rings for Pro-Line crawler rims. Starting with the diff cover, the part was designed to improve the durability and add visual impact to the Ascender’s and Bronco’s front and rear axle. The high-quality CNC-machined aluminium cover is a direct replacement of the stock plastic piece and available in scale black, gun metal, or natural silver.

STRC Wraith 17mm hex adapter set & alloy hardware

ST Racing Concepts have introduced a 17mm hex adapter conversion kit for the Axial Wraith and Deadbolt vehicles as well as CNC-machined aluminium links for general purpose. Starting with the conversion kit, the set was designed especially for those that are looking to mount up 1/2 inch off-set 17mm monster truck tyres from Pro-Line. The adapters widen the stance of the truck for that awesome monster truck look and they are available anodised in scale black, gun metal, monster truck green, or natural silver. Also new is a range of aluminium links, spacers and hardware to complete custom crawlers, scale rigs, or monster truck builds. The CNC-machined parts are also great for replacing some of the worn out existing pieces. Sold in pairs in various lengths the part come anodised in a wide variety of colours.

STRC Ascender aluminium shock parts

ST Racing Concepts have new aluminium shock parts for the Vaterra Ascender 1/10th off-road vehicle available. First up is a set of threaded shock bodies, lower shock caps, and spring collars. The high-quality and precision CNC-machined shock bodies comes in either gun metal or scale black anodising, or there is the option of having blue anodised collars and lower caps for a more accentuated look. The shock collars come with O-rings inside to accurate hold spring pre-load settings. The lower caps features machined grips for ease of assembly. The shock bodies and accessories come as pairs and are a direct replacement for the standard composite items. Also new is a four piece set of aluminium upper shock caps. Like the spring collars they feature machined grips for easy assembly and they are available in black, gun metal, silver or blue anodising.
