Losi Tuned Flex 8ight-T Chassis

Losi have released this Tuned Flex Technology Chassis for the popular 8ight-T truggy, having been previously available for the 8ight buggy. It has been milled at exact points to give more flex to the chassis while not sacrificing chassis flex at the gear mesh, which greatly improved overall traction and stability on all track surfaces and has been vigorously tested worldwide by Losi drivers Adam Drake, Mike Truhe and Yannick Aigoin. This lighter chassis will reduce the vehicle’s overall weight to provide increased acceleration and better handling.

Mike Truhe wins ROAR 1/8th Buggy Nats

We received this report from Losi, whose 8ight buggy just won the ROAR 1/8 Nitro Off-Road National Championship for the second year in a row. There is no doubt this 2008 ROAR Nationals will go down in history as one of the nicest and best run events in the last 10 years. Virtually every top factory driver, as well as the best privateers, from around the country raced throughout the week at the beautifully prepared Thunder Alley off-road track in Beaumont, California. The gruelling hour-long A Main event is the ultimate test of both driver and machine. While it was Jared Tebo that took the pole position, it was Losi racer Mike Truhe that took the lead early and went on to complete 126 flawless laps, with times consistently faster than his competitors, to take the win. Overlooked for much of the race was Losi 8ight driver Billy Fischer who bumped up three times through the semi-finals to earn one of the last starting spots in the Nationals A final. With a car that had been raced hard for over an hour Fischer put in a sensational drive from the back of the pack, passing 10 of the best drivers in America, to take the 2nd spot. Jared Tebo rounded out the podium in 3rd spot, ahead of Scott Hughes in 4th, while Losi driver Adam Drake, the reigning 2007 National Champion, completed the race in 5th.

Losi release Classic T-Shirt

Losi have released this classic look t-shirt featuring an old school college shirt design that is so popular at the moment. Available in the usual range of sizes, the grey speckled shirt features a large red print on the front, which I wont explain as you can just check it out in the picture above.

Losi 1100mAh NiMH Battery & Charger

Losi have released what they expected to be one of the more popular options for the new Mini-T. Racers get an 1100mAh NiMh battery pack that substantially increases speed and run time and a wall charger to go with it. Typical charge time for the included 1100mAh pack is about two hours and the charger can be used with a variety of other Ni-MH battery packs for micro cars and trucks.

Exotek MXT Extended Mini-T Chassis

More new products from Exotek Racing who have released this MXT extended wheelbase conversion for the Team Losi Mini-T. Claimed to add instant handling, the extra long wheel base causes the stability to be greatly enhanced while maintaining the off road worthiness thanks to the moulded tub chassis. The fibre reinforced chassis is strong, lightweight and allows the right amount of flex for better rough track handling, while a centralised battery location further balances the handling.

Losi 1/8 Eclipse Nats Pack

Losi have announced the release this Eclipse Nats Pack, which includes four 1/8-scale Eclipse buggy tires, without foam, in Losi’s exclusive red racing compound. These tires fit all 1/8-scale buggies and have a specialized tread pattern that maintains incredible grip on a variety of track surfaces.

Losi Lightweight Truggy Wheels

Suitable for the 8ight-T, these Super strong and lightweight wheels make the car more agile and responsive on the track. Sold in a pack of 4, they are available in both yellow and white.
