Rusti Design XX4 shorty LiPo brace kit

Available from French brand Rusti Design is a LiPo brace kit for the vintage Team Losi XX4 buggy. The 3-D-printed braces were designed for the use with the TLR231092 22X-4 battery mount set of which the rubber strap and hook parts are needed as donor parts. Fitting the braces requires some DIY in the form of the drilling of four mounting holes, however Rusti Design supply a drilling jig with the brace kit. Using the braces will allow for a more professionally looking battery mounting and it required additional hardware in the form of 4-40×3/8” flat head and M3x10mm flat head screws.

Losi Lasernut U4 1/10th scale 4WD RTR

Coming from Losi is their new Lasernut U4 1/10th scale 4WD ready-to-run rock racer. The TEN 4WD platform is recognized all over the world as the personification of strength and durability. The Losi Lasernut with Spektrum Smart builds on the TEN design and adds items rock racers demand such as aluminium shocks, sway bars and adjustable turnbuckles. Plus, it includes a full metric hardware package for worldwide compatibility. The Lasernut is currently the only complete Unlimited U4 FIS (Full Independent Suspension) racer on the market featuring all the technological advances drivers demand including the Spektrum Smart 130A brushless ESC and Spektrum 4-Pole 1900kv 550 motor providing greater efficiency improving run times with increased power. The ESC is waterproof, completely programmable and comes pre-wired with a high-current IC5 connector. Drivers stay in control with a DX3 transmitter, a Spektrum AVC receiver with steering priority, and an officially-licensed Lasernut race-inspired scale U4RC body/roll cage with two different graphics and colour variations. Working together with BF Goodrich Tires, the Lasernut U4 has a scaled down M/T tyres that have an aggressive tread pattern that handles any terrain.

TLR 8IGHT-XT/XTE nitro & electric truggy kit

TLR have introduced their new 8IGHT-XT/XTE 1/8th scale truggy kit that includes both nitro and electric specific components in one box. The Next Generation Truggy builds on the championship-winning heritage of its predecessors with updates to the suspension geometry and drivetrain as well as the chassis layout that make it both easier to drive and tougher to beat. Plus, it includes Nitro and Electric in one box. The 8IGHT-XT/XTE has a combination of features second-to-none including large footprint engine mount, 3mm chassis, cab forward body, machined aluminuim shock caps, and so much more. The Next Gen suspension geometry has been completely revamped making a truck that is fast, nimble, and easy to drive. This includes a myriad of updates including wider front pivot with less scrub radius, narrower rear pivot, longer front and rear arms, and updated hub offset. All new suspension arms have been designed to accept stiffener plates that will allow racers to tune the flex of the suspension. Velocity RC VTx4 22X-4 truggy conversion kit

Velocity RC have announced the soon release of their new VTx4 truggy conversion kit for the TLR 22X-4 1/10th scale 4WD buggy. The features list includes new 4mm carbon fibre shock towers, new front and rear arms and matching CVD-style driveshafts, updated swaybars, tough 2-pin front body mounts, new turnbuckles, and hardware to complete the conversion. Also included is a Leadfinger Racing body shell with a Velocity deal sheet. Items needed to complete the kit include the donor TLR 22X-4 buggy, JConcepts stadium truck wheels, tyres, and electronics.

T-Works XB4/22X-4 IFMAR legal disc wheels

T-Works have introduced their new IMFAR legal dish rims for the Xray XB4 and TLR 22X-4 4WD buggies. The disc-style wheels are of the correct offset for both the Xray and TLR buggy and they are usable with all standard 2.2” buggy tyres. They are available as pairs or 8-piece value packs for the front or rear and in white or yellow colour.

Exotek 22 adjustable wheelie bar set

Exotek have introduced their new extra long adjustable carbon fibre wheelie bar for the TLR 22 3.0 to 5.0 series cars. The wheelie bar extends from 9.5” to 11.75” – axle to axle – to match your race event rules. The longer bar gives the car more stability, for straighter and faster passes without needing to let off the throttle as often. Owners are also able to finely adjust the wheel height via the 4mm turnbuckle or make large adjustments by adding spacers under the wheel. The wheelie bar is made of heavy duty 3mm carbon fibre with alloy turnbuckles and mounts and includes a ball-raced machined alloy wheel with oversized rubber O-ring tyre. The set fits the 22Vader as well as the stock TLR chassis 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0 , nowever not the 1.0 or 2.0 chassis.

T-Works 22X-4 POM shock cap bushings

Coming from T-Works and made for the TLR 22X-4 are new POM shock cap bushings. The precision-made parts replace the standard bushings with the self-lubricating POM material improving suspension efficiency. The bushings come in sets of four and are also usable for other 22 series buggies and trucks.

Rusti Design XX4 rear pivot brace

Rusti Design have introduced their new rear pivot brace for the vintage Team Losi XX4 buggy. Made of 5mm carbon fibre sheet the brace prevents the pivot block to be ripped off after hazardous jump landings or hard crashes. The carbon fibre part needs to be assembled with two bolts on the plastic part and it requires to flush the bossing on the rear bumper and longer flat head screws to be mounted on the chassis. Not included are the 4-40 UNC button head screws and 3/16” lock nuts needed for installation.
