Exotek introduce new 22 SR & EB410 optionals

Exotek have introduced new optional parts for the TLR 22 SR and Tekno EB410 1/10th scale off-road buggies. First up is a set of Puck diff outdrives for the TLR 22 SR. The conversion outdrive cups for the SR diff allow to use the diff with the popular MIP pucks and roller bones. The parts replace the stock plastic outdrives of the 22 SR diff with heavy-duty hard-anodised 7075 aluminium cups for longer lasting stock racing performance when combined with optional MIP pucks or rollers. The stock TLR 22 bones are not compatible and 67mm length Puck bones are recommended for the 22 4.0.

Losi Tenacity SCT/T/DB PROformance upgrade kit

Losi have introduced the PROformace upgrade kit for the Tenacity SCT, and DB vehicles. The upgrade kit includes many items to update the Tenacity to a race-level vehicle. This includes an aluminium chassis, which provides more strength, and the items needed to convert to the upgraded chassis. It also includes aluminium front and rear shock towers which stiffen up the suspension for better handling. The aluminium shock bodies and shock caps it includes make for a smoother suspension. Finally, it includes adjustable turnbuckles and sway bars which add to the race-level experience. The set was designed for SCT, T and DB kits and dies not work with the Tenacity monster truck.

Losi Super Rock Rey 1/6 4WD RTR AVC rock racer

Losi have introduced their new Super Rock Rey 1/6th scale 4WD RTR AVC rock racer. The buggy takes its inspiration from full-scale rigs that tackle the King of Hammers and similar places others won’t dare go. Realistic solid axle performance joins 8S brushless power that pushes the needle to 50+ mph or more — while the stability of AVC technology let drivers hold nothing back through corners and jumps. The large tyres and new front end geometry increase suspension travel and improve performance over any terrain. The buggy is equipped with a 4mm aluminium chassis with injection-moulded roll cage and it comes pre-assembled and including a 750kV brushless motor and 160A speed controller. A multi-piece body shell in two designs and grippy all-terrain tires round out the package.

Vision Racing introduce new 22 & B6.1 optionals

Coming from Vision Racing are new option parts for the TLR 22 series kits as well as the Team Associated 6.1 buggies and trucks. First up is a carbon fibre motor mount for the TLR 22 4.0 and TLR 22T 4.0. The 3mm carbon fibre motor plate knocks off four grams of weight and a threaded aluminium insert is pressed into place for the one threaded portion of the plate. This eliminates weak treads into carbon fibre. Also new are the CFCS slipper pad sets for the TLR 22 4.0, 22T 4.0 and 22-4 2.0 vehicles as well as Team Associated B6.1 based kits. The plates offer a more consistent slipper action throughout a run as they are more resistant to heat. Each set contains two slipper plates.

Vision Racing TLR 22 4.0 rear shock tower & shock pistons

Coming from Vision Racing are a new carbon fibre rear shock tower and shock pistons for the TLR 22 4.0 buggy. The shock tower, that is designed for the use with the laydown transmission, is made of 5mm carbon fibre and it incorporates micro tune shock positioning by adding two in between holes to the standard positions of the stock shock tower. The needed mount is made of 7075 aluminium and is anodised black. The two raised portions on the base allow clearance of the transmission case when mounting a rear swaybar kit. On today’s extreme traction tracks less suspension flex is a must. This combo will deliver a more consistent driving car while also improving jumping.

Losi Baja Rey & Rock Rey RTR BND trucks

Losi have announced the soon release of their new Baja Rey and Rock Rey 4WD 1/10th scale BND kits. The proven Baja Rey desert truck is built on one of the most advanced chassis ever conceived for a ready-to-run vehicle. It comes equipped with a Dynamite 3800Kv brushless power system, as well as a long-travel suspension, so owners can tear across all types of terrain at speeds of 70km/h or more. The chassis design blends scale realism with functional 4WD capabilities. The foundation consists of a 3mm, anodised aluminium chassis plate that is integrated with a realistic roll cage made of super-tough composite material. To this it adds a long-travel, independent front suspension and 4-link live rear axle that look and function exactly like their full-scale counterparts. The single-speed transmission, as well as the front and centre diffs, are sealed against the elements and engineered to handle the abuse of a high-output brushless motor and punishing terrain. Mod 1 gears further increase the durability of this desert beast. The long-travel shocks soak up the energy from big bumps and jumps. They also feature threaded shock bodies with adjustment collars so owners can fine tune the pre-load settings of the coil-over springs. External bump stops provide plush landings on the hardest surfaces. The Rock Rey builds on the same chassis technology but comes with a rock racer body shell and larger 2.2” x 5.8″ wheels and tyres. Both vehicles come factory-assembled and including a Spectrum SRS6000 receiver with Active Vehicle Control, meaning owners can use an existing or choose a new Spektrum DSMR transmitter to get the trucks going in no time.
