TLR 4.0 grey & black T-shirts

Coming from Team Losi Racing are their new TLR 4.0 T-shirts. They feature the 22 4.0 1/10th scale and 8ight 4.0 1/8th scale buggies as well as TLR’s signature while, black and yellow colours with a larger print on the front and a smaller print on the rear. The shirts are available in grey and black colour and in all popular adult sizes.

Exotek introduce new TLR 22 & 22-4 option parts

Coming from Exotek and made for TLR’s 22 and 22-4 range of 1/10th scale buggies are several new option parts. First up is an ultra lightweight LiPo tab and post for the 22-4 wheeler. Usable for the 22-4 2.0 and 1.0 buggies, the carbon fibre tab holds normal height shorty packs securely but thanks to the simple design only weights 2.8g including the hardware. To remove the battery simply loosen the supplied screw and turn the carbon tab 180 degrees. Included in the set are also an alloy post, spacers and an M3 screw and to utilise low-profile shorty packs the spacer and screw can be replaced with self-sourced, shorter pieces. Due to the design, mounting of the body with hook and loop straps is required.

Team Losi Racing show off new 8ight parts

During this weekend’s Horizon RC Fest in Monticello, Illinois Team Losi Racing’s Dakotah Phend is running an updated TLR 8ight buggy that sports a redesigned body shell and what appear to be new swaybar mounts and front C-hubs. The body is question looks like a reminiscence to the very first 8ight body while the anti-roll bar mounts seem to utilise ball bearings or at leat outer set collars to locate the swaybar wire and the C-hubs seem to offer an additional, lower mounting position for the camber link. We bring you more information on what may be a possible 8ight 5.0 kit as soon as they become available.

Flash Point R/C 16mm shock bladders

New from Flash Point R/C are 16mm shock bladder that are compatible with most major brands including Mugen Seiki, Kyosho, Xray, TLR, and Serpent. The volume compensators feature a reinforced web design that allow the bladder to hold their shape in the most extreme conditions. This will provide more consistent handling help improve the stability when landing large jumps.

Losi 22S 2WD SCT Brushless RTR short course truck

Following a couple of teaser videos on social media, Losi have officially introduced their new 22S 2WD SCT Brushless RTR short course truck. Based on the Team Losi Racing 22 race platform, the all-new 22S series truck has taken the performance and durability of the 22 platform and maximised it to become the ultimate Ready-to-Run performance basher. A powerful Dynamite brushless system provides ample power that’s completely manageable with the aid of the Active Vehicle Control AVC technology. The get-up-and-go of the 22S is easily handled by the race-inspired suspension of the championship winning 22 race platform. Several Team Losi Racing 22 platform performance parts can upgrade the look, style and performance of the 22S RTR. With user-friendly design concepts, like a bottom loading battery compartment and hard mounted electronics, the user experience is hassle-free allowing the bashing to begin right away. Included in the package comes a 2.4GHz radio system, MAXXIS Razr tyres as well as a MAXXIS or K&N styled body shell.

JConcepts 22T 4.0 Finnisher body shell

JConcepts have introduced the Finnisher body shell for the TLR 22T 4.0 2WD stadium truck. The lid features a slight cab forward design, a raked windshield, and an aggressive stance. A revised front hood scoop allows plenty of clearance for the unique 22-T geometry while smoothing out the front down force area. Front chin spoiler, headlight and grill protect the front-end from unwanted up-drafts during flight. Like the ROAR National Champion Hi-Flow SCT body, the Finnisher body has built-in air escape passages which allow the customer to fine-tune the body for maximum outdoor performance. The latest stadium trucks have the ability to utilise shocks placed on the front or rear of the rear suspension, the JConcepts body accommodates both configurations for the utmost versatility. The new body includes the high performance gurney spoiler which increases rear grip and balances the handling characteristics of the aggressively styled body that comes clear, including window masks and a decal sheet.

Exotek roll out new 22T & 22-4 option parts

Coming soon from Exotek are new option parts for the TLR 22T and 22-4 series of trucks and buggies. First up is a 4mm front shock tower for all 22T series stadium trucks. Machined from lightweight USA-made carbon fibre the shock stay weighs in at only 12g, scrubbing nearly 3g of weight. The tower is a heavy duty construction with a factory look and a more robust material than the stock plastic for consistent handling on high grip tracks. The part is designed with reinforced profiles along the mounting holes for added strength and it includes hardware to mount the stock body posts. The tower fits all 22T series trucks but not the 22SCT.

Losi Tenacity-DB 1/10th 4WD desert buggy RTR

Coming soon from Losi is their new Tenacity-DB 4WD RTR desert buggy. Following the Tenacity-MT, T and SCT, the DB is the fourth vehicle within the Tenacity range and it features a scale-looking roll cage, driver figures and it is powered by a Fuze 3800kv 550-class 4-pole brushless motor and a Dynamite 130A brushless speed controller. A 9kg waterproof steering servo makes for go-everywhere capability as does the 4WD driveline with adjustable differentials and coil-over fluid-filled shock absorbers on all four corners. The composite tub chassis features bottom-loading battery tray and the buggy is rounded out by a race-inspired body shell that is available in blue or red tone. The ready-to-run set, that comes including a Spektrum DX2E Active transmitter and AVC system, is available from May.
