TLR 22 4.0 Stiffezel 12mm hex front wheels

Team Losi Racing have introduced new Stiffezel 12mm hex front wheels for the 22 4.0 2WD buggy. Marked with an “S” inside of the wheels, they have been moulded from stiffer composite, which allows the wheel to flex less under higher load. During testing, the team has found these wheels to create more consistency high speed, while adding more steering in longer, high load turns. The wheels fit all 22 buggies with 12mm hexes and they are available in yellow and white colour.

ProStar 8ight series Kevlar shock towers

Coming from ProStar R/C and available for the TLR 8ight buggy and 8ight-T truggy are the Super Hybrid Kevlar composite shock towers. The sandwich shock stays utilise gold or blue carbon fibre over a Kevlar layer with a carbon fibre core. This makes the shock towers structurally stronger and more durable while the outer layer adds a touch of colour. Lighter than stock the parts also lower the overall centre of gravity. The shock towers are available for the 8ight buggy and 8ight-T truck and also in limited edition red variants.

MIP TLR 22 4.0 Bi-Metal Super Diff 13.5 drive kit

MIP’s recently introduced Bi-Metal Super Diff kit for the TLR 22 4.0 is now also available as 13.5 drive kit including bi-metal driveshaft bones. Offering a 35 percent lower rotational mass than the standard diff and dog bones, the kit comes in handy especially for Super Stock and Stock racing as the lowered weight makes for increased acceleration and less motor fatigue while offering pin drive binding characteristics. Included in the kit are bi-metal outdrives and bones, heat treated outdrives, carbide diff ball, ground diff rings, an aluminium T-nut and a captured thrust race assembly. Not included are wheel axles and the diff gear.

JConcepts TLR 22 4.0 S2 buggy body shell

Coming from JConcepts and made for the TLR 22 4.0 is the S2 body shell. It sports the popular S2 design and is tailor-made to fit TLR’s latest 2WD racing buggy. A slammed overall height allows the S2 to whisk through the turns with a low centre of mass while the progressive cab design provides plenty of front-end force for balance and steering. A channeled roof directs the flow through the centre of the body while also increasing the rigidity of cockpit. The dual side-window design that has become famous on the JConcepts bodies remains to bring a traditional feel to the layout. The upper side-pods feature distinct vents used to help relieve hot air build-up inside the body for those high-powered runs or hot days at the track. Carved and detailed side-pods edge the body giving the highly aero unit a stylish look with a tight fit and finish. Cut-lines are included on the body to accommodate stand-up and lay-down transmission layouts giving all out versatility. Includes with the body come window masks, a decal sheet and two Aero rear wings.
