TLR 22 4.0 1/10th 2WD buggy kit

TLR have introduced their new TLR 22 4.0 1/10th 2WD off-road buggy kit. Building on the successful 3.0 kit, that was introduced back in November 2015, the 4.0 variant was developed with maximised versatility in mind. The kit builds on a new lightweight 7075-T6 aluminium chassis that has been revised to accommodate a variety of battery configurations while machined pockets take optional weights to fine-tune the buggy’s weight bias. Included are also two transmission options, a standup gearbox for low to medium-bite tracks as well as a laydown option that moves the motor about 20mm towards the centre which is helpful especially on high-bite surfaces.

Leadfinger Racing Strife 8ight-T 4.0 bodyshell

Made from thicker polycarbonate material for added durability the body offers an aggressive look, a low-profile design and it comes clear, ready for your favourite paint job. The body is a direct fit on the TLR 8ight-T 4.0 and it includes window masks and grille decals.

TLR 8ight alloy bellcranks & spindle carriers

Coming soon from Team Losi Racing and made for the 8ight series of off-road kits are an aluminium steering bellcrank set as well as two front spindle carrier sets. Starting with the bellcranks, the parts were designed for the use with all 8ight series kits and they offer improved rigidity and durability which results in increased steering response especially on high-bite surfaces. The parts are machined from high-quality aluminium, they come hard anodised for wear and include a pair of pivot balls.

Exotek 22 3.0 alloy steering set & brass RF weight

Coming from Exotek and made for TLR’s 22 3.0 series vehicles are an aluminium steering set and a RF brass LCG hanger. Starting with the steering set, it is designed to replace the standard parts on the 3.0 buggy with a more sturdy and precise affair. The new design adds four 3x6mm ball bearings and two crush sleeves for longer wearing, smoother and more precise operation. Included are aluminium bellcranks, an alloy steering rack and miscellaneous small parts and the set is usable on the 22 3.0, 22SCT 3.0/2.0 and the 22T 3.0/2.0.

Exotek 22-4 2.0 alloy steering link & wing mount

Exotek have introduced two new option parts for the TLR 22-4 2.0 4WD buggy in the form of a ball-raced aluminium steering link and a machined aluminium wing mount. Starting with the steering link, the part is machined from high-quality 7075 aluminium and it utilised four 6x3mm bearings to minimise slop and make for smooth movement and long-lasting wear. Included with the black anodised part are also two machined crush spacers for the bearings.

Exotek Flite 2WD topshafts & direct spur mount

Exotek have introduced three new Flite-series topshafts the most popular 2WD buggies as well as a Flite ultra light direct spur mount. Starting with the topshafts, the parts have been drilled and the teeth narrowed for increased acceleration and a cooler running motor. Less than half the weight of the stock topshaft and slipper assembly and lighter still than Exotek’s standard spur mount set, when combined with the special light weight spur mount, the assembly weighs in at 9.5g complete with hardware and 72 spur. The topshaft is available for the Team Associated B6, Kyosho RB6.6 and the TLR 22 3.0.

TLR 22T 3.0 2WD stadium truck kit

Team Losi Racing have introduced their new 22T 3.0 2WD stadium truck kit. Based off of the championship-winning 22 3.0 buggy the latest variant of TLR’s popular race truck benefits from the same innovations as the 22 3.0 buggy and so the truck features a revised motor position that is 12mm closed to the diff gear for better rear end grip, more corner entry steering and an overall easier to drive vehicle. Also included is the new 3-gear transmission for decreased chassis roll and improved stability. The front suspension received a make-over with all-new C-blocks and A-arms as well as a bellcrank steering system that makes for a more neutral yet nimble handling.

175RC.com have introduced their new Money carbon fibre front shock tower for the TLR 22 3.0 buggy. Machined from green “Money” carbon fibre the tower features added material for increased overall durability. A centre rib adds strength and looks of the shock tower that is understand to mimic the standard kit shock geometry.
