TLR 22-series aluminium gear differential set

Team Losi Racing’s new gear differential for the 2WD 22-series of vehicles has been designed to drop right into the 22-series transmission cases, so there is no need hand-fit, modify or alter the car to make it fit. Besides providing improved performance on all types of surfaces, the gear diff can be accurately and consistently tuned using diff fluid. The case is machined from 7075-T6 aluminium to balance out weight, durability and performance. The unit is compatible with all 22-series buggies and trucks, and it can be used with 3-gear, 4-gear and laydown transmission cases.

Losi Rock Rey 1/10th 4WD RTR rock racer

Horizon Hobby have introduced the Losi Rock Rey 1/10th scale 4WD rock racer. Running on 2.2″ tyres the vehicle can bash over pretty much anything, anywhere, through mud and water. The foundation consists of a 3.5mm, hard-anodised aluminium chassis plate that is integrated with a realistic roll cage made of tough composite material. To this it adds a long-travel, independent front suspension and 4-link live rear axle that look and function exactly like their full-scale counterparts. The attached long-travel shocks soak up the energy from big bumps and jumps an they also feature threaded shock bodies with adjustment collars. External bump stops on the rear provide plush landings on the hardest surfaces.

JConcepts 8ight 4.0 S2 bodyshell

Made for TLR’s 8ight 4.0 buggy is JConcepts’s latest Silencer S2 bodyshell. Influenced by JC’s S2 1/10th buggy bodies the 1/8th scale variant sports a forward cab, low-profile stance with channeled roof and rear stabilizing fin. The front of the pods have a deep pocketed “force-bars” which have shown to channel some air in a much needed forward position while also providing a more rigid feel to the body. The low-profile side-pods whisk over the electrics and step where necessary, but its the rear wicker section that improves rear-end grip and tightens up the handling. The unique engine compartment adds some innovation to the design and the prefect resting place for the engine head. The channeling directs the air just along the engine and cooling head while still maintaining a very structured look. The clear body set includes window masks and a decal sheet and it is a direct fit to the 4.0.

Exotek introduce new 2WD option parts

Exotek introduce new 2WD option parts

Coming from Exotek are a range of option parts for several popular 1/10th 2WD buggies such as the HB Racing D216, the TLR 22 3.0 and the Team Associated B6. Starting with the D216 part, the Flite motor plate is a fully CNC-machined affair made of high-quality 7075 aluminium. The vented design will keep the motor running cooler and longer for that extra edge. Aggressive cut outs allow the heat that builds up inside the gear cover to vent out thus lowering overall motor temperatures. The extra machining also reduces the weight down to 11.8g but the critical motor mounting areas are still intact to maintain solid motor mounting and gear mesh. Extra cut outs on the bottom side make sure that debris is ejected for free running gears. The part comes polished, anodised in black and laser-etched.
