Schelle TLR22 3.0 screws, bearings & chassis skin

Schelle Racing Innovations have a suite of new products available for the TLR22 3.0 buggy in the form of an upper titanium screw set, a ceramic bearing kit and a chassis protector skin. Starting with the 37-piece upper titanium screw set, it saves about 12 grams of weight and outfits a buggy minus the chassis bottom screws. The fasteners are made of Grade 5 titanium alloy with a bright machined finish to give the car that pure racing look. Next up is the Black Diamond series ceramic bearing set. It includes 14 ceramic bearings for all rolling axles and gearbox components to reduce drag to a minimum. Also included are 6 Onyx series bearings for the steering bellcranks and ball differential. Last but not last is the chassis protector skin set. It includes a pre-cut vinyl protector decal for the buggy’s aluminium chassis as well as two additional replacement rear skids. The skin, printed by UpGrade RC, will keep the chassis from becoming excessively scratched on abrasive surfaces.

JConcepts S2 bodyshell for TLR 22 3.0

JConcepts S2 bodyshell for TLR 22 3.0

Making its debut at the recent IFMAR Worlds in Japan, JConcepts have introduced a TLR 22 3.0 version of their new S2 bodyshell. Slammed overall height allows the S2 to whisk through the turns with a low centre of mass while the progressive cab design provides plenty of front-end force for superior balance and steering. A channeled roof directs the flow through the centre of the body while also increasing the rigidity of cockpit. The dual side-window design that has become famous on the JConcepts bodies remains to bring a traditional feel to the layout. The upper side-pods feature distinct vents used to help relieve hot air build-up inside the body for those high-powered runs or hot days at the track. Carved and detailed side-pods edge the body giving the highly aero unit a stylish look with and tight fit and finish. Cut-lines are included on each side of the body to accommodate 3 or 4 gear transmission layouts giving all out versatility. Available in standard and lightweight versions.
