RC4wd is now making wheels and tires for the popular new micro crawler from Team Losi. The new stampede beadlock wheels offer a great fit and finish for the micro crawler and are sold in complete sets of 4. RC4wd is not finished there and so to add to the wheels they now offer their popular Rock Crusher and Rok Lox tires to fit the micro crawler.

Losi have released their new closed cell foam inserts. Highly durable, making them ideal for long mains, the inserts can be used multiple times between various sets of tires making them economical too. The insert design eliminates air gap between insert and tire and are highly advantageous on tracks that are medium-to-high grip, by decreasing a tire’s slip angle thus enhancing vehicle control. Having shown us their prototype Losi 8ight EU Fighter body shell last month, Bitty Design were in touch to tell us that their new body has been finalised and is now available. The new EU style shell features a fin along the top along with more pronounced channel over the back of the car to improve the downforce in high speed turns. Also thanks to a new air scoop situated along the side of the cockpit, the throttle and brake linkages don’t rub off the inside of the shell when in operation. Developed by Factory Losi driver Riccardo Rabitti, this new body has already won the 2nd round of the Italian Championships.

Losi have welcomed former Jammin driver Taylor James and his numerous years of top level racing experience to the team. Taylor will be joining the team for the upcoming 1/8th ROAR Off-road Fuel Nationals warm-up race in Colorado Springs, CO on May 13th-18th and will be competing in all the major races including the upcoming IFMAR World Championships this November. Taylor James will be running the Team Losi Racing 8ight 2.0 buggy race roller and the 8ight-T 2.0 truggy race roller powered by Nitrotec engines and controlled by his Spektrum DX3R.
