Losi 4wd Micro Rally car

Losi have released this awesome looking Micro Rally car. An agile 4WD drivetrain and powerful micro motor hooked up with a rugged chassis, extended suspension travel and oil filled shocks make the Micro Rally Car a blast to drive on a myriad of different surfaces. Ready to run straight out of the box all that‘s needed to get up and running is to charge the 220 mAh battery and the rally car can hit the dirt. It features a scale rally style body with a choice of four trim colours based on two basic types of livery. The traditional type of rally/SCT livery is complimented with a style more in-line with the looks of popular rally/SCT liveries seen in the US today. Scale wheels and tyres finish off the scale appearance. The built in combined receiver and speed controller keep weight to a minimum but still offer fully proportional control both in forward and reverse and nerf bars incorporated into the design of the chassis also allow a level of protection for the electronics as well as the suspension.

The slight cab-forward treatment is amongst the most aggressive in class giving the Punisher top notch performance. Blended wing / body design gives additional down-force to the side-pods and windshield which increases drivability, corner speed and jump control. The rear base of the cab area represents the latest offering for 1/8th buggy racing featuring a super low profile design for increased engine cooling, air flow and escape.

Losi Digit, King Pin G2 and BK bar tires

New from Losi is their Digit pattern for 1/8th buggy which is now available in Losi’s exclusive red compound. The new multi-level pin design is a two stage square pin design that is supported by a large base pin and provides excellent wear. The tire is highly versatile as it works on multiple track conditions from loose and loamy conditions to hard pack blue groove tracks. Losi molded inserts are provided and known for their perfect balance and are very lightweight. The new Losi King Pin G2 is now also available in Losi’s exclusive red compound which works excellent on medium to high grip tracks and provides excellent wear. The new small square pin design provides immense traction on hard packed tracks, while the new center bar design provides increased forward traction. No pin is located between the center bar designs which allows for great forward drive, making out-of-the corner jumps much easier. Losi’s BK Bar proved to have incredible forward traction while maintaining great side bite with tremendous longevity and is now available for the 1/10th Off-road Truck class in pink, red, and silver compounds. The tire can be used on the front and rear of truck for optimum traction on hard packed surfaces. It is also available as a 1/10th 4wd front tire in red and pink compounds and has proven to smooth out steering going into the turn while offering improved forward traction on corner exit on hard packed surfaces.

Answer RC Black Losi 8ight CVD axles

Answer RC have now made available a black version of their popular Losi 8 CVD Axles for both centre and wheel hubs. Specially hard coated in a tough black anodising to suit the EU Edition of the Losi 8 2.0, these CNC machined 7075 Aero grade aluminium CVD axles massively reduce rotating mass in the drive train of your vehicle, giving quicker spool up, reduced braking time and sharper handling. The Answer-RC CVD axles have been specially machined with additional CVD pin holes meaning that as the fit becomes sloppy they can simply be rotated round to the next set of holes.

RC4wd Losi Micro Crawler beadlocks & tires

Losi closed cell foam inserts

Losi have released their new closed cell foam inserts. Highly durable, making them ideal for long mains, the inserts can be used multiple times between various sets of tires making them economical too. The insert design eliminates air gap between insert and tire and are highly advantageous on tracks that are medium-to-high grip, by decreasing a tire’s slip angle thus enhancing vehicle control. Sold in a set of 4.

Bitty Design 8ight EU Fighter shell

Having shown us their prototype Losi 8ight EU Fighter body shell last month, Bitty Design were in touch to tell us that their new body has been finalised and is now available. The new EU style shell features a fin along the top along with more pronounced channel over the back of the car to improve the downforce in high speed turns. Also thanks to a new air scoop situated along the side of the cockpit, the throttle and brake linkages don’t rub off the inside of the shell when in operation. Developed by Factory Losi driver Riccardo Rabitti, this new body has already won the 2nd round of the Italian Championships.
