TQ Racing SXSC10 photos?

Having brought you the first CAD images of the new SXSC10 from TQ Racing, we have come across the first photos of what we believe is the new truck. Shown online by the cars OEM, it doesn’t have the final body shell but the rest appears to be exactly as it was shown in the CAD images.

TQ Racing SXSC10 – First CAD images

Following their teaser image back at the end of April, TQ Racing has released some more detailed CAD drawings of their soon to be released SXSC10 short course truck. We are told that the molds are complete and parts are already being manufactured, with their goal being to debut the truck at the up and coming SC Nats in CT. The truck will come in two versions, the first will be a RTR brushless kit with a 2.4Ghz radio, while the second will sport some factory hop ups and come as a pre built Race Roller with the go fast setup.

Travis Amezcua joins TQ Racing

TQ Racing have announced that Travis Amezcua has signed a contract to campaign the TQ Racing SX10 series of 1/10 electric off-road cars through 2011. Travis brings a unique skill set to TQ Racing having been a multiple time IFMAR World Championship A Main Finalist and competed in over 15 ROAR National Championship A Main events in electric off road classes. Travis was the 2003 ROAR 2wd Modified National Champion and he also was the Top Qualifier at that event. He brings with him a long history in the hobby industry with a background that not only includes driving, but also product development and service. Travis’ TQ Racing SX10 2w, SX10T, SX10 4w and SX10 SC will use products from his other sponsors LRP, Orion and Proline. He will be continuing his nitro powered schedule with Mugen Seiki.

Having brought you information about the new TQ Racing line of engines last week, today the US company announced more details including the name ‘Laboratory of Speed’. The line will begun with the .21 buggy engine followed up with a .26 truggy engine in the near future. These engines are proven performers and boast the world famous Italian quality at competitive prices.

TQ Racing sent us the video above showing some ‘top secret’ testing of their soon to be released SX8 Evo buggy. Following the series of tests they have declared themselves very happy with the progress and feel that they have zeroed in on a strong platform.
