3Racing One-piece QC Engine Mount for NT1 and V-One RRR

3Racing One-piece QC Engine Mount

3racing have introduced this quick change engine mount system for both the Kyosho V One RRR and XRay NT1 200mm chassis’. Available as two seperate designs, for each of the 2 cars, the mechanism and benefits are the same and that is, firstly, that it allows your engine to be removed easily and quickly from your car. The 2nd and main benefit is when you go to put your engine back, you dont need to worry about gear mesh and alignment issues due to the systems 2 piece design combined with the use of aligning pins mean that you only ever have to align your motor in your car once.

Wayne Mah wins CORCS series Rd2

Wayne Mah wins CORCS series Rd2

We only just reported on the first round of the CORCS series this week and already we have a report from the 2nd round which was run at the Red Deer RC club in warm conditions. Buggy qualifying saw the Xray of Wayne Mah, carry his top form forward from round 1 of the series to claim the TQ for this class and also claim the top spot in truggy too. In the buggy final Wayne had a bad start and was last after the start following a crash meaning he had to get his head down and work his way back to the front, which he did, and only after the then leader lost drive could he secure the win. In the truggy class, he wasnt so lucky, having lead the race for a long time he damaged this XT8 after after landing badly, which ended his race.

Atomic RC parts for Xray NT1

Atomic RC parts for Xray NT1

Atomic RC, the custom parts makers, have starting making option parts for the latest car to enter the 200mm market, the Xray NT1. While little information about these parts is available, the first to be released is a machined alumium lower back plate, which is a direct replacement to the standard composite part, but is stronger in the event of a rear collision. The 2nd new part are these new upper engine mounts, but i cant find any difference between them and the original Xray part with perhaps the exception of the materials used.
