Yokomo BD10F front balance weights

Yokomo have released this front balance weight to improve traction of the BD10F. The weight can be increased by 40g on each side for a total of 80g, reducing wheel spin that tends to occur during acceleration. This will improve acceleration out of corners and improve your lap times. By using only one screw to fix the weight to the chassis, the effect on chassis rigidity is minimised.

Yokomo BL-EP6P budget brushless speed controller

Yokomo have released the BL-EP6P, a brushless speed controller that is compatible with onroad, offroad and drift categories, comes with a programmer and is reasonably priced. In addition to Yokomo’s sensor type brushless motors, it can also drive general purpose sensorless motors. The included programmer is easy to understand with its one-button operation. By simply pressing and holding the buttons, you can easily make settings while watching the LEDs light up. The settings are also simple, making it easy to use even for first-time users of brushless motors.

Yokomo transmitter bag

Yokomo’s transmitter bag has received a refresh with the design changed to include the Racing Factory logo. The bag sports cushioning to protect your precious radio from bumps when traveling to the RC circuit. The design language of the bag is the same as that of the recently released pit bag, and so when combined they look great together. The interior and exterior is made of tear-resistant nylon, with shock-absorbing material inserted on all sides to shut out external shocks. The interior is a simple single compartment with one inner pocket, but it has a large capacity with room for a large transmitter. It can also hold peripherals such as chargers and spare parts giving the bag multiple uses.

Yokomo YD-2 ‘Teams’ lightweight Flex chassis set

Team Yokomo’s competition drift brand, Teams, have announced the release of their new light weight flex chassis set for the YD-2 series. The lightweight graphite main chassis plate and special lightweight battery holder provide the right amount of rigidity and traction for a more balanced and controlled feel. While the design is slim and stylish, the weight and rigidity has been carefully balanced with bold cut-outs and milling on the bottom chassis plate. The flex balance not only improves rear traction, but also the load on the front tyre, ensuring better response of the steering. The chassis is also designed to take advantage of the inherent flex of the chassis material, with separate FR/RF suspension mounts to allow for unobstructed flex. The battery holder is also compact and separate, maximising the use of the whole chassis plate and allowing the car to keep constant traction on uneven surfaces and extreme throttle input.
