Yokomo YD-2RX RWD Drift chassis

Yokomo have announced their new YD-2RX RWD Drift chassis based off their popular R series chassis. Maintaining its overwhelming acceleration with high rear traction thanks its rear mounted motor, the RX has a newly designed main chassis and upper deck and comes equipped with a load of optional parts as standard. The brace that supports the upper deck has been moved slightly forward and the mounting of the battery has been placed as close to the rear as possible. By moving the heavy objects to the rear, they have achieved the highest rear load model in the series. The YD-2Rx is available in three colours, black, red and purple, as a standard lineup.

Yokomo YZ-4SF2 rear hub carrier & front stiffener

Yokomo have presented two new option parts for the YZ-4SF2, including an aluminium rear hub carrier and front stiffener. The rear hub carrier is compatible with the sturdy Φ3mm outer suspension arm pin. Four types of bushes for passing suspension pin are attached and the height can be adjusted in 7 steps by switching the height. Also, it also has the effect of increasing rear traction due to the increase in strength and weight compared to standard resin. The stiffener increases the strength around the steering post and reduces front friction by changing the rigidity. This will be more effective on dirt tracks and has the effect of increasing the stability of steering.

Racing Performer DX1 Type R titanium shaft motor

Yokomo have also introduced the newest version of their Racing Performer DX-1 Type-R, which is their best-selling motor for drift users. This spec features a lightweight and high quality titanium rotor shaft to further enhance the performance of the Type-R. A lighter rotor makes the throttle very smooth, while the optimised magnetic force improves high speed performance while working well with the boost and turbo functions of the speed controller. Compared to steel shafts, it is more resistant to overheating which can maximise efficiency even when running for long periods of time. In addition, by smoothing the descent of rotation when letting off the throttle, you get the feeling of rolling in the corner, which enhances control during cornering.
