Yokomo BD10 20mm bell crank & belt tension cam

A number of new option parts from Yokomo for the BD10/9 including a 20mm aluminium steering bell crank and a belt tension adjuster cam. The bell crank is 1.5mm longer than the standard bell crank, changing the steering characteristics, increasing the turning angle of the outer tire meaning improved steering in tight corners. The belt tension adjuster cam has been machined from hard resin and allows the axle to be set in a higher position than the standard cam of the kit. It also makes it possible to optimise the angle of the dog bone when setting the vehicle height on low grip circuits. Finally, there are two sets of 3mm teflon spacers for the suspension arms. An ideal spacer for adjusting the wheelbase of on-road and drift cars the spacers are made from Teflon resin and are very smooth. This makes it possible to reduce the friction of suspension movement during acceleration and deceleration, and obtain a smooth feeling by fitting this spacer between the suspension arm and suspension mount.

Cheat Parts YZ4FS front lower suspension block

From Swiss brand Cheat Parts comes this front lower suspension block for the Yokomo YZ4FS Mk.I and Mk.II. Improving the front end geometry it will give you more adjustability and equals out the front and rear roll centre. Front lift during acceleration and front dive during braking will be reduced and you can run the car with less ride height, therefore lowering the centre of gravity. By speeding up lateral and reducing longitudinal geometric weight transfer the car gains response and stability. The new bumper design is working as an airdam, preventing unnecessary air flowing under the chassis and with front aero lift reduced, cornering speed in fast turns will increase. The part is machined in Switzerland from Swiss 7075 aluminium and anodised in black for improved rigidity.

Yokomo YD-2SXIII high traction gearbox spacer

From Yokomo, for their drift team is this spacer set that can increase rear traction by raising the gearbox height of the YD-2SXIII. The main plate is made of 2mm thick steel and weighs about 18g, and features Yokomo engraving. Furthermore there is an aluminium plate mounted on the front side of the gearbox and an aluminium shim mounted on the front side of the upper deck. The parts contents are made for the SXIII, but it can also be used for E series and R series chassis by adding spacers. Of course, an increase in weight, increases the feeling of ground contact, but a higher differential position will increase the angle of the universal shaft and the force on the tip of the universal axle presses the tire toward the road surface resulting in more traction.
