New from T-Works are these shock tools for use with the Yokomo YZ-4 and YZ-2. Made from aluminium and black anodised there is two version and they aid with the tightening of the caps to the shock body and separately the ball joints.

From Yokomo comes this graphite battery holder to be used with the YD-2E / R series and YD-2SXIII drift cars. The graphite parts have a plate thickness of 3mm, holding the battery firmly in place. Included in the set is 4 beveled edge design nuts to be mounted to the included aluminium posts for a cool look.

For the YD-2 series of cars, Yokomo release these SLF big bore shock tapered piston. Developed by Team Yokomo drift members, one side of the piston surface has a tapered shape meaning the damping feeling differs depending on the mounting direction, softer for the movement of the piston in the direction of the taper. In addition, the piston hole is angled diagonally with respect to the shock operating direction so the damping changes with respect to a sudden shock input due to the action of fluid dynamics. At times it has the effect of absorbing small bumps while maintaining a high damping force. The piston hole setting is ø1.1 mm x 6 holes and each set contains 2 pieces.

From Yokomo for the BD10 comes this pair of low friction drive belts. Made of a softer material than the kit’s standard black belts, it can improve drive efficiency. Most effective for the stock category with high motor turns it helps reduce the feeling of stall while improving the top speed. The same part front and rear, the set comes with two pieces included.
More new carbon SC1 slipper pads from PSM, this time for the Yokomo YZ2 Cal 3/DTM3 and YZ4 SF2 buggies. Featuring their high performance carbon composite material, these slipper pads have been developed to provide fade resistance and linear performance. Tested through multiple 15 minute long runs and proven by racing competitions, the slot cooled (SC) design provides a stable temperature level along with smooth and consistent acceleration. From Takashima D-13 is this carbon adjustable top deck for the Yokomo YD-2SXIII. Supplied with a metal adapter to easily adjust the stiffness setting on the top-deck, it offers three choices for the customer. And if you turn around the metal adapter with the dot side down, it will provide 3 further hardness choices for a total of 6 flex settings.

Yokomo have sent us a teaser for their upcoming touring car release, the follow up to the successful BD10. No information is currently given apart from what can be discerned from the blurred image, but they did tell us that team drivers Christopher Krapp and Nicholas Lee will show more details in a Facebook live on Friday the 29th of January.

Brass screws can be used in the chassis of the car to increase weight at the lowest point to improve the cars centre of gravity and in areas where additional weight is desired.
