Yeah Racing YD2 aluminium rear hubs

Coming from Yeah Racing and made for the Yokomo YD2 and YD2S RWD drift cars is an aluminium rear hub set. The CNC-machined and black anodised items are direct replacements for the standard plastic parts, adding strength and cool looks while offering a multitude of upper camber link ball stud mounting positions. Machined silver edge details and etched YR logos add visual impact. The set includes two rear hubs that are usable on either side of the car.

Samix BD9 front balance weights

Samix are busy adding more balance weight options to their growing range with the latest addition being dedicated front balance weights for the Yokomo BD9 touring car. Available as 5g, 10g or 15g options, the weights are a direct fit for both the standard and the coming Samix chassis. Black coating helps to prevent corrosion and engraved markings ensure easy identification while adding a professional look.

Samix BD9 centre balance weights

Coming from Samix and made for the Yokomo BD9 are new centre balance weights. Coming in 25g, 35g or 45g specification the weights not only up the car’s overall weight when needed, they also act as a battery stopper, preventing the LiPo pack from moving. The weights come machined from high-quality brass material, they are black coated and are a direct fit with the original Yokomo chassis as well as all Samix BD9 chassis plates.

Made for Yokomo’s YD2S RWD drift car is a carbon fibre and aluminium rear shock tower from Yeah Racing. Constructed from high-quality carbon fibre and black anodised aluminium the shock stay offers an incredible amount of upper shock and camber link mounting positions, allowing to create complex setups. The part is a direct fit and available now.

Yeah Racing introduce new YD2 series optionals

Made for Yokomo’s popular YD2 and YD2S RWD drift cars are Yeah Racing’s new graphite vertical top deck and aluminium steering knuckles. Starting with the top deck set, the construction will provide large amounts of forward traction whilst retaining cornering grip. The lateral grip generated by the chassis can be fine-tuned by either adding or removing the centre stiffener posts. Integrated is a high centre of gravity ESC mount on the vertical top deck set.

Corner Speed RC EU limited edition turnbuckle tool

Corner Speed RC and MonacoRC have introduced the EU limited edition turnbuckle tool that will fit Xray T4’15 to ’19 as well as Yokomo BD8’18 and BD9 kits. Base on the very popular previous variant, the new tool features a laser engraved logo for professional looks. Two marking letters – X and Y – representing Xray and Yokomo have also been added, making it easier to identify the two different ball cup holder slots. Every single tool has been manually matched for the smoothest operation. Even more special, MonacoRC will offer a limited free custom name engraving service for the first buyers.

Rusti Design YZ-4 SF carbon fibre shock towers

French brand Rusti Design has introduced new carbon fibre shock towers for the Yokomo YZ-4 SF 4WD buggy. Both are machined from matte finish carbon fibre and they sport an updated and unique design with a pocketed RD logo and additional machining for a low weight and increased stability. The shock stays however utilise the same geometry as the stock parts and they are available now.

Cavalieri gets Yokomo ride for 2019 and beyond

Yokomo have announced the signing of former Team Associated driver, Ryan Cavalieri to their factory team. The 4-times World, 28-times ROAR National, and 4-times Reedy Race Invitational Champion left long-time sponsors Team Associated at the end of 2018 following a very fruitful campaign. Cav’s official Yokomo debut is next week at the 2019 CRCRC Winter Midwest Championships at The Ohio RC Factory and in the meantime he has the following to say:

I am really excited to join the Yokomo Race Team for 2019 and beyond. I would like to thank Yokomo President Tom Yokobori, Minoru Aso, & Joe Pillars for the great communication during this process. I am really looking forward to working with Yokomo Engineer Shin Adachi and also very good friend Ryan Maifield. Ryan and I have had allot of success working together in the past and I can’t wait to do it again!
