Bezerk 1/10th touring battery hook sets

Available for some of the most popular 1/10th electric touring cars are Bezerk’s new battery hook sets. The battery posts are located as close to the side and centre of the battery as possible to reduce the stress on the upper retaining tab while the 5mm thick battery hooks are beefy enough to take a beating and high enough to keep the battery in its place. The mounting holes are slotted to allow a small amount of left/right adjustment. The 3mm upper tabs look minimal in size but due to their placement are more than up to the task. The kits includes two battery hooks, two battery tabs and two black alloy hex standoffs. Other options include shorter standoffs for very low batteries, standard 17mm and option 15mm, and are also available in silver. The sets are available for the Infinity IF14, Team Associated TC7.2, TC7.1 and TC7 as well as the Xray T4 ’18 and ’17 and also for the Yokomo BD8 and BD7 kits.

Yokomo YZ-2T 2WD racing truck kit

Based on the IFMAR World Championship winning YZ-2 platform comes Yokomo’s all-new YZ-2T 1/10th scale 2WD competition racing truck kit. The truck utilises a long wheelbase chassis machined from high-grade aluminium while wide track suspension components and high-capacity big bore shock absorbers soak up any surface imperfections, ensuring optimised jumping, landing and handling characteristics in a wide range of track conditions. Newly developed carbon fibre Ackermann steering plates ensure optimised steering characteristics in combination with the wide track front suspension. The centre of the chassis sees a new battery hold down system for swift and easy battery swaps while also allowing to shift the battery forth and back by about 40mm. Additionally a new electronic mounting tray helps to provide a solid base for the receiver and speed controller, all while allowing for easy removal for cleaning or maintenance purposes. In the rear the YZ-2T features a new laydown 3-gear transmission that is ideal for all high-traction surfaces such as clay, astro turf and carpet and it comes equipped with a single style slipper clutch that can be converted to a dual style clutch using separately available option parts. The transmission is rounded out by a standard ball differential and the ability to adjust the diff height in a 3mm range in order to adapt the truck to different traction levels. Last but not least come newly designed lower shock mounts for more precise adjustments, alloy suspension mounts with inserts and a JConcepts F2 body shell that provides an aggressive look with hi-downforce features resulting in increased steering and traction.

Yokomo YD-2 brake discs and callipers set

Yokomo have released this new brake discs and callipers set for the YD-2. The brake discs themselves will include an integrated hexagonal hub to be able to mount the wheels and there will be 3 hub thickness, 5.5mm, 6.5mm and 8.0mm which will are all included so that you can adjust the track width and scrub radius freely. The brake callipers, which can be mounted to new front and rear knuckles, are gunmetal colour to better represent the realistic look and finish of a real car. The set comes with new plastic steering knuckles and rear hub carriers in order to be able to install the callipers, which will be shaped to match our latest spec settings. The new steering knuckles are set for the optimum trail and kingpin angle which where referenced from the dynamics of a real drift car so steering response is improved while increasing the looks while counter steering. The steering stopper and tie rod mounting positions are also updated to the latest specifications, and the operation when increasing the steering angle also becomes smoother. The rear hub carriers are designed with new upper arm attachment positions and this new positioning allows an increase in the range of setting the roll centre and the camber change to the rear, making it possible to positively utilise the roll especially when at a low grip surface such as P tile. By keeping more of the contact area when the chassis rolls by raising the upper arm attachment position this will ensure more stable grip in the lateral direction, for more aggressive drifting.
