Yokomo sign Christopher Krapp to their factory team

Yokomo have announced the signing with 3-times IFMAR World Championship finalist, Reedy Race podium finisher and German National Champion, Christopher Krapp. Christopher will campaign Yokomo’s BD8 electric touring car kit with immediate effect and he will also use the company’s off-road buggies from May when his contract with Schumacher expires. In addition the young German also signed to run Yokomo’s own Racing Performer electric in all of his rides. Christopher says:

First I want to thank my recent car sponsor Team Tamiya/TRF for their support over the last 2 years. It was not the longest time together but we had a very productive time and achieved great results as a team. Personally I want to thank Takayuki Kono and Kiyo Suzuki for being my mechanics in that time. Also I want to thank Team Orion and especially Oscar Jansen for their support in the last decade. They have been supporting me with all electronics since I started RC and I can’t thank them enough for all their efforts! Now it is time for a new challenge and I am very happy to be part of Team Yokomo. I will also use their line of electronics for my Onroad and Offroad cars throughout 2017 and 2018. I will start using the touring car and electronics from now on followed by the offroad cars from 1st May 2017. I can’t wait to work with the whole Team and my first big event will be the TITC in February. See you on track!
