RC-Mission T4 & BD7 aluminium rear wheel axle shafts

RC-Mission T4 & BD7 aluminium rear wheel axle shafts

Newly founded Japanese aftermarket company RC-Mission, brainchild of Propec’s Toshihiko Hara, has introduced its first option part in the form of aluminium rear axle shafts for the Xray T4 and the Yokomo BD7. Precision-machined from high-quality aluminium the shafts run ultra-true while offering a very light weight which can be beneficial especially in Stock class racing. The axle shafts are a direct fit on the T4 and the 2015 and 2016 variants of the BD7 with the 2016 spec car needing an additional 3×2.5mm grub screw for the driveshafts.

RSD T4 hardened spool outdrives & 30mm fan mount

Yokomo BD7 alloy battery guides & steering limiters

Yokomo BD7 alloy battery guides & steering limiters

Yokomo have introduced new aluminium option parts for the BD7-2016 touring car in the form of aluminium battery guides and steering limited screws. The battery guides, that are also usable on the 2015 car, make for a more secure mounting of the battery pack while adding a factory look thanks to their black anodised surfaces and machined silver edges. On top of this the mounts also make for an improved weight balance when used with lower capacity batteries. As for the steering limiter screws, the machined alloy parts screw into the top of the Ackermann arms, they come as pairs and are available in 8.0mm, 8.5mm and 9.0mm diameter to mechanically limit steering travel which can reduce wheel chatter at high steering angles. All parts become available by end of May.

LMR 27 1/10th scale low-profile buggy wing

LMR 27 1/10th scale low-profile buggy wing

LMR have introduced their all-new 27 wing for the use with 1/10th off-road buggies. Designed with high-traction racing in mind the wing weighs in at only 17 gram while its low-profile design significantly lowers the car’s centre of gravity. For lower grip racing conditions the wing has a recess where an optional 1mm carbon fibre plate can sit and act as a stiffener, making this wing produce the maximum amount of downforce and still weighing less than 20 grams in the process. The pre-drilled plate, currently only available for Yokomo buggies, has three hole placements so the wing can be moved forward or back depending on the level of traction required.

Yokomo YRX12 1/12th scale pan car kit

Yokomo have announced the upcoming release of their new YRX12 1/12th scale pan car kit. The car features an all-new front suspension design based on the double wishbone suspension of the previous car but with a focus on high-speed cornering as well as ease of setup and maintenance. The front end now sports a pushrod design for optimised cornering stability with adjustable roll centre and track width settings remaining for suspension fine-tuning purposes. The previously used anti-roll bar was dropped for a simpler design and to reduce overall weight. Also new is a sliding upper bulkhead arrangement for easy caster angle adjustments with the bulkheads and pivot balls can be spaced down in order to create reactive caster settings.
