Serpent S977 carbon fibre option parts

Serpent S977 carbon fibre option parts

Serpent introduce new carbon fibre option parts for their recently released S977 1/8th on-road car. Available now are front and rear inner rim covers, a transponder mount, steering block levers and shock extension brackets. Starting with the rim covers the parts are designed to attach directly to the front and rear hubs and improve aerodynamics in order to create more steering and better highspeed stability. The parts are a direct fit, come with all needed hardware and are sold as separate front and rear sets. The second new part is a Mylaps transponder mount that attaches in the steering servo area for easy maintenance while offering added security at the same time. The carbon steering block levers are a direct replacement for the kit’s alloy parts, look cool and offer a slightly lower weight to reduce unsprung masses. Last but not least come carbon front and rear shock extension brackets. They are a direct replacement for the standard alloy items, are of a lower weight and come as separate front and rear sets.

STRC Team Durango ‘210 series options

STRC Team Durango '210 series options

ST Racing Concepts introduce a line of carbon fibre and aluminium option parts for the Team Durango ‘210 series of vehicles such as the DEX210, DESC210 and DEST210. Starting with the carbon fibre parts, available will be 4mm front and rear shock towers with the front items coming with the needed aluminium stand-offs. The shock stays are CNC-machined from high-quality carbon fibre and available as DEX210 and DESC/DEST210 specific variant. Also new comes a lightweight graphite battery strap that is useable with the kit as well as aftermarket thumb screws. Swinging over to the aluminium parts, useable for all ‘210s is the finned aluminium heat-sink motor plate. The finned design helps to dissipate heat from the motor and the clean look adds that special touch to the chassis. Last but not least come several shock parts in the form of upper shock caps with bleed screw, lower shock caps, shock collars and spring retainers. The parts are designed to increase durability and to make working on the shocks easier. All alloy parts are available in a range of colours including black, gun metal and gold.

Exotek Flex type chassis & servo mount holder

Exotek Flex type chassis & servo mount holder

Exotek have released a new 2.5mm Flex type chassis set for the Exotek F1R conversion. Prototype testing has shown this new design to offer increased overall front and rear grip thanks to the flex traits of this thinner chassis material and extra rear cut out. The chassis also updates the side links to an angled geometry to increase rear pod traction. The angled links reduces link binding when the rear pod is articulated. Included is a 1mm spacer for the front to make sure the front wing does not scrape on the ground and also included is a 2.5mm rear pod plate. Also new is a 2.5mm thick carbon servo mount holder and a 3mm thick carbon u-brace for F104 series cars and some F103 cars without top plates. Excellent when used with Exotek F103 and F104 alloy servo mounts.

RDRP DEX210 Plus11 chassis

New from Revolution Design Racing Products comes the Plus11 chassis for the Team Durango DEX210 buggy. The chassis is designed to replace the kit chassis with an 11 millimeter longer variant. Precision CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and anodised black for a more durable finish the RDRP Plus11 chassis is more than twice as rigid as the Team Durango standard chassis for a more precise on-track feeling and improved durability.
