CRC braces for Gen-Xi, XL, X10 & X10LE

New from CRC is a batch of products designed to make your Gen-Xi, XL, X10 and X10LE more adjustable, rigid, strong and true. CRC has a line of carbon fibre front end braces for both 1:12th and 1:10th Gen-X cars. For the 1:12th car, there are 2 different braces, the wide brace for the short arm and the narrow brace for the long front end arms. In addition to an increase in stability, the brace keeps the front end aligned in big crashes. Finally there is extended rear shock mount top plates for the Gen-Xi. The new Gen-Xi features optional rear shock positions and you can utilize these positions by lengthening the shock. Or these new extended rear top plates can be used to move the rear shock forward in .25 inch and .5 inch increments. Typically, when the rear shock is mounted more forward, more mid and exit steering is achieved. It is a quick simple change that can be done to alter the handling of the car. Sold as a set of 2. With .25 inch and .5 inch movement that matches the hole pattern on the Xi.

KM MTX5 steel diff gear set

New for the Mugen MTX5, KM Racing have released this steel differential gear set. The new gears are much stronger than the plastic diff gears and are also much more durable but are also heavier so its a trade off between weight and strength. The set includes all crown gears for one gear diff, shims for spacing as well as the gear shafts.

Kyosho have announced the release of the new M-size front shock tower for their Inferno MP9 buggy. Designed to suit the European tracks more, it can help to increase the handling of the car over ruts and rocks as well as fast corners depending on the track layout. Made to be used with Kyosho’s M-size length Big Bore shocks the shock tower will increase the possible droop of the front wishbones which adds more options for the setup of the car.

Continuing their line of driveline components, Tekno RC have released these complete drive shafts for the Hot Bodies D8/Ve8 and HPI Vorza/D8s vehicles. The Tekno RC M8 drive shafts will get you to the finish line without ejecting a drive pin or breaking a shaft and they include their legendary stub axles with retainer rings and all new drive shaft/barrel design. A hardened steel construction and black oxidized finish provide supreme durability and 3 pairs of drive pin holes means you can rebuild and reuse the stub axles. These drive shafts are .5mm longer than the Hot Bodies WCE shafts (1.5mm longer than stock) and allow full droop in the front and rear without interference.

Centro C4.1 Option parts

Centro C4.1 Option parts

CML have released a whole bunch of optional parts for the Centro C4.1 conversion. First up is a full range of weights for the front of the car including a 30 gram brass front bulkhead and brass bulkhead weights in 15 grams, 10 grams and 5 grams. These can be mounted together with the Delrin front brace which is need to mount the brass bulkhead. These weights also work on the B4.1. Other new parts include a carbon battery x-brace and carbon LiPo battery holders. Finally there are some narrow front wheels which provide a slightly different profile to the standard Team Associated front wheels to provide extra bite on certain surfaces. They are also better suited to the narrower Schumcaher Stagger Rib tyre than the stock wheel.

TLR 8ight Gen III radio tray

Seen in various forms for the past few months, TLR has announced the new Gen III radio tray for the line of 8ight vehicles. The radio tray is a drop in replacement in all 8ight vehicles with many improved features. The key features of the radio tray are improved weight distribution and adjustability with the throttle servo relocation improving servo life by moving the servo away from engine vibration which can potentially reduce servo life. A ball bearing throttle linkage creates a precise throttle feel while molded index points improves accuracy with linkage alignment. Furthermore a switch relocation improves ON/OFF switch access and a metal J-Nut secured battery box increases radio tray life during chassis flex. Available in early December.
